2. What is the Texas STaR Chart? The School Technology and Readiness Program (STaR) was devised because of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) and the Long-Range Plan for Technology, 2006-2020.

3. According to No Child Left Behind… All students need to be computer literate by the time they end their 8 th grade year. All teachers need to become computer literate. As of December 31, 2005, technology must be incorporated throughout all content areas.
