The STaR Chart is a tool used by Texas schools to evaluate their progress in meeting the technology goals outlined in the Long-Range Plan for Technology. The STaR Chart allows schools to set goals, measure their progress across four areas of technology implementation, and see where they fall in categories of early, developing, advanced or target technology use. It also provides insight into funding and shows collaborative efforts between state and local education levels to improve technology and student outcomes.
