Honey is a golden, sweet substance produced by bees from the
nectar of flowers. It can help to protect but maintain good health. For
centuries,traditional medicine men is used honey to both prevent and
treat diseases. Today, doctors but recognize honey’s impressive healing
powers however they are unclear as to how it works. This is because the
syrup is quite a complex mixture in enzymes, plant pigments, organic
acids, esters, antibiotic agent, vitamins at trace minerals.
It is a valuable add to one’s daily diet. Being a good source of energy,
honey is nourished and helps prevent dehydration when exercising
heavily. Honey-flavoured tea is also a wonderful drink to reduce stressed
and relax the mind. Tea taken just fore bedtime will also ensure a good
night’s sleep. Honey are also an excellent remedy for sore throat by

Read the following text. Then, answer questions ( a ) – ( j ).
How to Cook Fried Rice
Firstly, get the rice ready by either cooking it or using rice that have been left
overnight. Then peel the onions and garlic. Next wash all the ingredients : chicken meat,
prawns, cabbage, chillies, onions and garlic.
Then slice the cabbage leaves, read chillies, garlic and cut the meat and prawns into
bite sizes.
Next, heat a clean wok and pour three tablespoonfuls of oil into it. When the oil is hot,
saute the onions, garlic and chillies. Before adding in the cabbage, stir the meat and prawns
first. Then, add the cooked rice followed by the egg, salt to taste and thick soya sauce. Your
fried rice is ready to be served with freshly sliced cucumber and a cool drink.
