My career to date has been predominately, in the Customer Service industry. I started in Retail, concession 
management and onto assistant floating manager, home based supervisor to a bigger team and then went onto 
NHS and Vale of Glamorgan Council. My main aim in life is to help others from selling an outfit to supporting 
clients in any way possible, always giving them the best service they deserve. Apart from the last employment, 
the previous 3 position where convenient for me bringing up my family. It's now my time to concentrate on my 
career, back in Retail where my strengths lie. This is also evident in me going back to Schooling and receiving 
a Higher Certificate in Social Media Studies and graduating from University. 
WORK EXPERIENCE 
Assistant Information Officer for Family Information Service 
Vale of Glamorgan Council - Barry - March 2008 to December 2014 
Promoting the service to all families in the Vale of Glamorgan. Assisting the manager in all aspects of the team, 
the team plan and promotion. Taking the lead on Outreach events and visits promoting the service. When 
manager is on leave or holidays taking charge of the team. Helping with all training needs for the team and 
general organisation of wellbeing and support for the team and the clients. 
Assistant to the Head of Year 
Vale of Glamorgan Council, St Cyres School - Penarth - October 2004 to March 2008

All secretarial duties. Smooth running of the year, main areas organising induction days, trips, maintaining head 
of years diary. Management of pupil files, liaison with parents. Assist in monitoring unauthorised absences 
and punctuality. Planning, development, design, organisation and monitoring of support systems/procedures/ 
policies. Working in close partnership with outside agencies, sometimes with delicate issues. 
Nurse Bank Coordinator 
Cardiff and Vale NHS - Llandough - December 2001 to October 2004 
The main area I worked in was the nurse bank office, successfully negotiated with nursing agencies to fill 
shifts within 5 hospitals. Recruiting and using bank staff to fill the vacancies on wards. Prepared invoices, 
presentations and reports for the finance department. Working, as part of a team, within a very busy sometimes 
stressful office.

Providing an excellent service to the patient maintaining high standards of care in all areas. Dealing with very 
stressful situations. Dealing with confidential material. Working in partnership with doctors and ward managers. 
Dealing with telephone enquiries. Making sure patients that have had surgery have the correct paperwork.
