Types of Dialers
•Robo Dialer (robocall)- Recorded message sent out to phone
lines as a voice broadcast with prompts.
•Predictive Dialer- Dials numbers and predicts when agent is
available to connect calls.
•Progressive Dialer- Dials one numbers automatically without
the agent hanging up the phone. The agent is given a specific amount of
time to perform this review before dialing next contact number.
•Multi-Line Dialer- Gives agent the ability to dial up to multiple
numbers at one time. One line connects the other have msg or hangs up
with contacts.

Telemarketing Rules Established in 2003

•Make calls between 8 A.M. and 9 P.M.
•Maintain a "do not call list.“
•Honor any consumer’s request not be called
again.
•Disclose name, company’s name, nature of call
and
contact information.
•No artificial or voice recordings allowed.
•Calls cannot be made to cell phones.
