INTRODUCTION The spread of the corona virus infection led in an unprecedented rise in demand for healthcare services, emphasising the deficiencies of todays health systems throughout the world. Because there is no known cure for the disease, countries that have been affected have had to increase the efficiency of their healthcare delivery systems. Telemedicine can assist non critical COVID 19 patients avoid hospital visits, saving time and money for both providers and individuals who have not been exposed to COVID 19. Broad adoption of telemedicine at this critical juncture in Indias healthcare system will provide a new public health delivery option capable of dealing with the COVID 19 outbreak and beyond. OBJECTIVE To document the usefulness of telemedicine during COVID 19 in India and document the challenges in availing and provisioning telemedicine services from provider and client perspective in Indian scenario. METHODOLOGY This review was conducted using PubMed Central and Google Scholar to search two databases. Inclusion criteria included studies clearly defining any use of telemedicine services during the COVID19 pandemic and its uses, written in English, published from 2019 to the present, and including studies conducted in India. RESULT According to studies reviewed, patients have expressed high satisfaction with telehealth services, despite hindrances and potential barriers such as limited Internet availability, devices, a lack of technology awareness, high implementation costs, and a legal framework that includes privacy and confidentiality policies. As a result of the outcomes of this study telemedicine has been determined to be a successful method of health care in these challenging times. There are certain concerns about its usage that need to be addressed. CONCLUSION The utilisation of telemedicine and telehealth services during the COVID19 pandemic appears to be of great benefit, since when compared to the hurdles, it may allow a huge population to be reached from home without putting the lives of health care personnel and patients at danger. In addition, we will share our survey of application of telemedicine to telepsychiatry, teleradiology, telepathology, telecardiology, tele respirology, pediatrics, women health, ophthalmology, ENT, emergency response, physiatry, gastroenterology, infertility, dermatology, oncology, palliative care, allergology, rheumatology, and plastic surgery. The purpose of this discussion is to explore technology and trends to help improve the healthcare of the aging adult community. I have always seen the benefit of service animals for the disabled and elderly. They provide support, comradery, and a sense of purpose. If someone that would normally not see a reason to get out of bed has an animal that needs them for food and support, they will see a reason to participate in the day. I chose to delve into the idea of having robots assist those in the elderly community that needs aid. There is a discussion if the addition of aid from a robot would contribute to the isolation of this population. (Hersh, 2015) I will add that without the assistance the population may already be isolated due to the potential of immobility. Their only contact may be the isolated caregiver that comes to assist on occasion. With the addition of a live-in robot, the elderly patient may be more willing to communicate with others and even venture out of the house. Robotic limbs have been around for some years now and have improved the lives of amputees. Then there are the robotic teddy bears used in nursing homes to gauge responses and timing for their residents. One introduces an autonomy portion while the other does not.
The addition of technology to aid in the everyday and healthcare needs of the aging adult can be invaluable. The issue is when the cost out ways the benefits, who is going to pick up the bill for assisting a population that may have difficulty even paying for their housing? Little is known about individual end users’ willingness to pay for technology that has the potential to improve QoL and enhance functional independence in everyday life. (Hersh, 2015) I believe that technology is the way of the future in healthcare. Telemedicine allows individuals to stay in their homes longer and seek advice or treatment over the phone for video conferences. Remote monitoring and medication delivery are allowing rural communities to stay healthier when they cannot come into the city for aid. This technology is vital to keep the aging community healthy and safe at home as well. I feel this needs to be incorporated into the tax reform and/or Medicare/Medicaid contributions. Technology will help keep the vulnerable populations out of the hospital by providing preventive care and monitoring.

Methodology Our team researched literature and surveyed telemedicine clinics in Canada to identify the usage of telemedicine, devices, advantages and disadvantages of telemedicine in 18 medical disciplines.
Results We will present new technologies and best practice in telemedicine and tele dentistry as well as the practical use in clinics across Canada, USA, and internationally. We will also demonstrate the further role of telemedicine in expanding the field, and challenges and opportunities during COVID19. In addition, we will share our survey of application of telemedicine to telepsychiatry, teleradiology, telepathology, telecardiology, tele respirology, pediatrics, women health, ophthalmology, ENT, emergency response, physiatry, gastroenterology, infertility, dermatology, oncology, palliative care, allergology, rheumatology, and plastic surgery. The advantages of telemedicine such as fast access to care, reduced cost, cutting down on commuting, travelling in bad weather, taking time off from work, need for childcare, immobile patients, remote areas, cultural taboos are also assessed. The disadvantages of telemedicine are mainly present in older population that has less exposure to technology and the concern over data security.
Conclusion In sum, using virtual health care tools and telemedicine we can shorten wait times to see a provider, reduce the risk of community infection, improve training, and expand the range of access to specialists who live further away or need to be consulted for a second opinion

The purpose of this discussion is to explore technology and trends to help improve the healthcare of the aging adult community. I have always seen the benefit of service animals for the disabled and elderly. They provide support, comradery, and a sense of purpose. If someone that would normally not see a reason to get out of bed has an animal that needs them for food and support, they will see a reason to participate in the day. I chose to delve into the idea of having robots assist those in the elderly community that needs aid. There is a discussion if the addition of aid from a robot would contribute to the isolation of this population. (Hersh, 2015) I will add that without the assistance the population may already be isolated due to the potential of immobility. Their only contact may be the isolated caregiver that comes to assist on occasion. With the addition of a live-in robot, the elderly patient may be more willing to communicate with others and even venture out of the house. Robotic limbs have been around for some years now and have improved the lives of amputees. Then there are the robotic teddy bears used in nursing homes to gauge responses and timing for their residents. One introduces an autonomy portion while the other does not.
The addition of technology to aid in the everyday and healthcare needs of the aging adult can be invaluable. The issue is when the cost out ways the benefits, who is going to pick up the bill for assisting a population that may have difficulty even paying for their housing? Little is known about individual end users’ willingness to pay for technology that has the potential to improve QoL and enhance functional independence in everyday life. (Hersh, 2015) I believe that technology is the way of the future in healthcare. Telemedicine allows individuals to stay in their homes longer and seek advice or treatment over the phone for video conferences. Remote monitoring and medication delivery are allowing rural communities to stay healthier when they cannot come into the city for aid. This technology is vital to keep the aging community healthy and safe at home as well. I feel this needs to be incorporated into the tax reform and/or Medicare/Medicaid contributions. Technology will help keep the vulnerable populations out of the hospital by providing preventive care and monitoring.
