This document introduces Perforce Insights, a tool that provides responsive and understandable insights into how development projects are performing using data from Perforce. It demonstrates Insights' "glances" and metrics on code changes, defects, and stability. The architecture collects data from Perforce servers and checkpoints into databases. Insights is currently in preview and its roadmap includes improved packaging, personalization, additional metrics, and third party integration. Feedback is welcomed from those interested in helping shape the future of Insights.
