Certificate (PSC) in TEFL
•Sixty hours of classroom instruction. Plus
workshops and seminars (3 weeks)
•Instruction is delivered online when the
international teachers return to their own
countries, schools and classrooms. The
online component of the PSC in TEFL is
delivered over approximately 9 weeks
•Successful completion ensures participants
of a Professional Specialization Certificate in
Teaching English as a Foreign Language,
and alumni status at the University of
Victoria.

English as a Medium of InstructionEnglish as a Medium of Instruction
(EMI)(EMI)COMING IN 2017….
This practical course will provide high quality skills training for educators
who are required to teach subject content in their home countries in English to
students whose first language is not English.
Participants will learn on-site at the University of Victoria from experts in the fields
of education, applied linguistics, CLIL, ESL and TEFL.
Currently, there are only two other universities in the world offering this
course
