• Videoconferencing allow students to virtually connect with other
students in different geographic locations.
• Students are exposed to new cultures and experiences.

CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING STUDENT
ACCESS
• Classroom Conditions – Do all special education students have access
to technology.
• Classroom Conditions – Arrangement of Room
• Budget – Does the school have enough funding?
A CLASSROOM RICH IN TECHNOLOGY IS AN
EFFECTIVE CLASSROOM.
Many individuals with disabilities are never exposed to new affordable
products that could help them succeed in life (Green, 2018). There are
many forms of technology to choose from. Classrooms should be rich in
technology and have various types of technology available to meet the
needs of their special education students.
