Technology can both save lives and take lives. It has revolutionized sectors like communication, medicine, education and more by making life easier through applications of knowledge. However, technology also has disadvantages like pollution, distraction, and threats to security and the environment. While technology has become essential to modern life, humans must use it carefully and responsibly to ensure it remains a boon rather than a bane.

In present time,I dont think that people can imagine their life with.pdfnoelbuddy
In present time,I dont think that people can imagine their life without technology. As technology
has made our life easier, faster, more comfortable and dynamic. It has been a crucial part of our
life and it is one of the key ingredients for the survival of mankind to living in a fast-phase
environment. The development of new technology helps people save lives and it helps people
make work easier and makes the world a better place to live in. It has increased our lifespan and
quality of living. It has brought us closer to each other in certain ways and drifted away in
others. The technology which surrounds almost everyone in the modern society, affects both
work and leisure activities.
Technology contains information that many would rather it did not have. It influences minds in
good and bad ways, and it allows people to share information which they would otherwise not be
able to attain. Even if a person does not own a computer or have credit cards, there is information
on a computer somewhere about everyone.
The technology which is just now beginning to be manipulated and harnessed is affecting the
minds of small children and adolescents in ways that could be harmful. It is affecting our
immediate future. It also gives another form of communication and exchange of information
which was not available before, information that is both good and bad. Technology is one of the
principal driving forces of the future, it is transforming our lives and shaping our future at rates
unprecedented in history, with profound implications which we can\'t even begin to see or
understand. Many different elements affect how satisfied we are with our lives. The impact of
technology on these elements can change how safe, healthy and happy people feel. Throughout
history, people have looked for better ways to meet their needs and to satisfy their expectations.
Technology has improved the way people feed, clothe and shelter themselves. Technology has
also changed other aspects of everyday life, such as health care, education, job satisfaction, and
leisure time activities. People have used technology since they first chipped stone blades to
improve their hunting. Yet some people call the current age the \"Technological Age\" because
of society\'s dependence on technology.
For the first time in human history, almost all the goods and services people use depend on
technology. There has been a significant advancement in the field of technology and science over
past few decades. These advancement made it possible for human being to walk on
moon.Although, these development offers many benefits, some people argue that technology will
bring destruction upon earth.
Today the system by which research and development leads to new products is fundamentally
different than it was in nineteenth century. To the role of individual inventor has been added the
power of organized scientific research and development, which are increasingly international in
character, have greatly increased th.

appliances are marvels of technology. You would not want to be wasting time hand washing clothes when you have the machine to do it. Moreover, would not want to sit in a hot room when a fan or an air conditioner capable of cooling.
Today technology pervades almost all aspects of our daily life from shopping, banking, making travel arrangements to university admissions.
Electricity, Science's boon to mankind. Electricity is something that we cannot do without. Electricity powers our lights, fans, computers, refrigerators, TV's.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

6. WHAT IS TECHNOLOGY ?
• Technology is the application of scientific knowledge into practical life. Technology has grown as an
extraordinary power to us. Technology is an implementation of knowledge creatively to make human
life easier. This practice is changing our lives in a better way in past, present and will change our
future too. Technology has penetrated and diversified its shape into every corner of our life, we can
ever imagine. So, it is practically impossible to explore the scopes of technology and its effects on
mankind.
7. WHAT IS TECHNOLOGY ?
• Let’s try to understand the literal meaning of ‘Technology ‘. The word ‘technology’ is developed in a
combination of two Greek words: ‘techne’, which means art or craft and ‘logos’, which means word or
speech. In the 17th century, the term ‘technology’ was used in discussions on applied arts. But with the
passage of time, application and the meaning of ‘Technology’ is changed. Later, the use of the term
spread in many fields of studies to process ideas in collaboration with tools and machines
8. TECHNOLOGY REVOLUTIONS
Technology has brought revolutions in many fields through lots of changes or revolutions, categorised
into three types:
• Relation Revolution: The technological revolution plays a big role in the socio-technological
paradigm.
• Sectoral Revolution: This type of revolution brings changes to a particular sector like Green
Revolution,
• Universal Revolution: Universal revolution in technology is capable of initiating and pursuing
long- term effects on humanity. The Renaissance period of the 14th
century through the 16th century is an appropriate example of a
universal technological revolution.
9. TECHNOLOGY A BOON
• Technology has developed an environment for the human that makes its life easier to achieve goals for
example the telephone was invented to communicate between two distinct persons without meeting
physically; and this telephone is upgraded to a smartphone in present days, which is portable and
wireless and easy to carry. Now, the modern technology of communication is on our fingertip. Not only
communication but also technology has given an advanced dimension to medical treatment, scientific
explorations, communication, construction techniques, energy generation, food production, education
system, manufacturing industries, military applications.
10. TECHNOLOGY A BOON
• Advantages of Technology
1. Easy to access information
2. Time Saver
3. Cost Efficient
4. Use of Better Techniques
5. The material world and virtual world
6. Artificial Intelligence
11. TECHNOLOGY A BOON
7. Medical Applications
8. Scientific Applications and Explorations
9. Education System
10. Information and Communication Technology
11. Technology in Energy Generation
12. Food Production
12. TECHNOLOGY A BANE
• Technology innovation has brought not only benediction to mankind but also condemnation.
Innovations, such as the use of coal as an energy source, have a negative impact on the environment.
The development process of technology is not linear. Modern technology has brought the curse of
pollution to the Earth and its habitats. The marine ecosystem is being destroyed day by day. Many
species of birds got extinct and many more are on the Red List.
13. TECHNOLOGY A BANE
• Disadvantages of Technology
Negative Impacts on Our Social Life
Causing Distraction
Wastage of Time
Lack of Interest in Study
Reduction in Creativity
Social Isolation
14. TECHNOLOGY A BANE
Health Issues
Bad Effects on Childhood
Environmental Damages
Destruction of Natural Habitats
Pollution
Depletion of Natural Resources
Military Advancement and Terrorism
Cyber Security Threats
15. CONCLUSION
• It’s clear that a single day, even a single hour cannot be imagined without
technology. Technology has become the basic need of mankind as well as the key
towards the future. Technology itself has transpired as a covenant between
imagination and reality. But the reality could be harsh unless we learn to use it very
carefully. The Earth is the primary home of mankind and several lives and
generations ahead and we must care for our home and other habitats. Human needs
to be self-critical to make the technology a blessing, by using it through proper
innovation and spirit of overall wellbeing of all living beings in the planet. But the
technology could be a curse for the planet if we do not advocate for responsible use
of technology.
16. “IT HAS BECOME APPALLINGLY OBVIOUS THAT OUR TECHNOLOGY HAS
EXCEEDED OUR HUMANITY.”
— ALBERT EINSTEIN
