This document provides information about Lassonde's 3-credit International Experience Course to Israel from May 4-25, 2016. Undergraduate students from any year interested in entrepreneurship, broadening their cultural exposure, and learning about advanced technologies can apply. The two-step application process includes an online application and interview. The course includes a boot camp, travel within Israel, workshops at Technion, and tours of various sites. Fees for the Technion program and lodging in Israel are covered, while students are responsible for airfare, additional tours, and can apply for financial support. Security and visa requirements for the trip are also outlined.

May 5 – 7: Visit Tel Aviv (tours and free time)
May 8 – 13 Technion (Haifa) (workshops)
May 14 – 15 Tours to Galilee
May 16 – 21 Technion (Haifa and Tel Aviv)
May 22 – 25 Tours to Jerusalem and Dead Sea

7. Fees to Technion (Hotel, food, education)
covered by Lassonde
Airfare to Israel (about $1600)
Hotel & tours in Tel Aviv/Jerusalem (about $500)
Financial support from York International ($500)
Bursaries /scholarships are available to cover
some of the remainder

8. Security:
Given the situation in the Middle East, York University
monitors the situation and provides guidance
Technion monitors the internal situation in Israel, and
provides updates and security
Visa:
Canadians and many other countries do not require a visa
Other countries (i.e. India, Yemen) need a visa, easy for
India, challenging for Yemen

9. Airfare: $1600
