This document contains an evaluation form for a teaching demonstration given during an on-campus job interview. The form rates candidates on 11 criteria for presenting educational material, including clearly stating objectives, using effective examples, having an appropriate presentation method, addressing alternative views if relevant, using support materials, summarizing major points, keeping material up-to-date, organizing the presentation, maintaining an appropriate pace, using an appropriate voice, and having mannerisms that enhance the presentation without being distracting. Ratings are on a three-point scale of fails to meet basic requirements, meets basic requirements, and exceeds basic requirements.
