Brainstorming is a method for
generating ideas to solve a
design problem. It usually
involves a group, under the
direction of a facilitator.
• The strength of brainstorming is
the potential participants have in
drawing associations between their
ideas in a free-thinking
environment, thereby broadening
the solution space
Group Discussion
Discussion method of teaching is
a group activity involving
the teacher and the student to
define the problem and seek its
solution.
Discussion method is also
described as a constructive
process involving listening,
thinking, as well as the speaking
ability of the student
Problem Solving Method
True problem solving is the process of
applying a method – not known in
advance – to a problem that is subject
to a specific set of conditions and that
the problem solver has not seen
before, in order to obtain a satisfactory
solution.

WorkShop Method
Problem Based Learning
Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is a
teaching method in which complex
real-world problems are used as the
vehicle to promote student learning of
concepts and principles as opposed to
direct presentation of facts and
concepts.
PBL can promote the
development of critical thinking
skills, problem-solving abilities,
and communication skills.
Programmed Instruction
Programmed instruction is a method
of presenting new subject matters
to students in a graded sequence of
controlled steps.
Students work through
the programmed material by
themselves at their own speed
and after each step test their
comprehension by answering an
examination question.
SIMULATION
Simulation is a controlled
representation of reality.
Simulation means role- playing or
rehearsal in which the process of
teaching is carried out artificially
Basic Assumption
1. Teacher behavior is modifiable
by the use of feedback device.
2. The underlying skill of teaching
can be modified and practiced.
3. Teacher behavior can be
identified.
WEB BASED LEARNING
Web-based learning refers to the
type of learning that uses the
Internet as an instructional delivery
tool to carry out
various learning activities.
It can take the form of a pure
online learning in which the
curriculum and learning are
implemented online without face-to-
face meeting between the instructor
and the students
