Accenture Acquires Dutch Product Design and Innovation Agency VanBerlo to
Help Clients Build Smart Connected Solutions
Accenture has acquired award-winning product design and innovation
agency VanBerlo, headquartered in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The acquisition
will strengthen Accenture’s capabilities to help clients benefit from the
merging of physical products and digital services. Terms of the deal were not
disclosed. VanBerlo innovates products and services for companies in many
industries, including fast-moving consumer goods, mobility, healthcare,
banking and high-tech. The agency’s smart connected solutions combine
physical objects with digital services, using technologies like internet of
things sensors, artificial intelligence and data analytics. These solutions can
provide more personalized offerings and convenience to users while offering
companies new ways to expand their businesses. VanBerlo has a team of
more than 90 professionals working from studios in Eindhoven and The
Hague. They have deep experience in innovation and product strategy;
product, software and user experience design; and prototyping, with a focus
on sustainable solutions. The team will join Accenture Industry X.0, the part
of Accenture that uses digital technologies to improve how companies
design, engineer and manufacture products and services, and operate
industrial facilities.

of Technology Consultancy Icon Integration
Accenture has acquired Icon Integration, a privately held Australian
technology consultancy that provides SAP digital supply chain
solutions and services as well as specialized business intelligence
solutions to clients across Australia and New Zealand. This acquisition
will boost Accenture’s growing technology practice and number of SAP
professionals in the region. Icon Integration was founded in 2011 and
employs a team of approximately 70 professionals at its offices in
Sydney and Melbourne, as well as in New Zealand. The firm works
with some of the regions’ largest retail, consumer goods and
government organizations, bringing differentiated capabilities in supply
chain execution, particularly warehouse management. Icon Integration
also helps companies with data optimization, as well as designing,
developing and delivering bespoke enterprise technology solutions that
help clients improve business performance and operational efficiencies.

Accenture to Acquire Mudano, Enhancing Its Analytics and Data Transformation Services to
Financial Services Firms in the UK
Accenture has agreed to acquire Mudano, a strategic data consultancy to U.K.
financial services firms, further enhancing its analytics, data and artificial
intelligence transformation capabilities. Terms of the transaction were not
disclosed. Mudano’s team of industry-focused data professionals will join
Accenture Applied Intelligence, which employs more than 20,000 professionals
worldwide who help clients scale AI, including 6,000 data scientists, data engineers
and AI professionals. Mudano’s data advisory expertise and technology solutions
will complement Accenture’s existing capabilities and strengthen its commitment to
helping clients generate measurable value and return on investment from large-scale
transformation projects. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in London, with a
presence in Edinburgh, Scotland, Mudano uses advanced analytics, applied data
science and modern data technologies to help the U.K.’s largest banks, insurers and
wealth management firms transform key areas, such as customer behavior analytics,
financial crime-prevention and intelligent data management. Accenture Applied
Intelligence has received several recognitions from leading industry analyst firms in
2019, including being named a worldwide leader in AI vendor services by IDC. In

Accenture to Expand Workday Practice to Help Higher Education and Public Sector Organizations
Transform Core Operations
Accenture has signed an agreement to acquire the Workday, Salesforce and
U.S. MuleSoft practices from Sierra-Cedar. The acquisition will fortify
Accenture’s leading position in the Workday ecosystem and broaden
Accenture services to higher education and government organizations
seeking to transform core software systems for human resources, finance,
accounting and student services. Sierra-Cedar’s Workday practice brings
deep industry experience and expertise in the small and medium-sized
education and government markets. Once finalized, approximately 275
professionals across the United States will join Accenture’s Workday,
Salesforce and MuleSoft practices, focused on modernizing complex core
operational systems and processes for higher education and government
clients. In its 2019 fiscal year, Accenture invested nearly US$1.2 billion
globally on 33 acquisitions to acquire critical skills and capabilities in
strategic, high-growth areas of the market. Accenture was recently named a

Atos, a global leader in digital transformation, announced the completion of
its acquisition of Maven Wave, a U.S.-based cloud and technology consulting

CGI reports strong Q1 Fiscal 2020 results
First quarter
• Revenue of $3.05 billion, up 3.1% year-over-year or 4.8% in constant
currency;
• Adjusted EBIT of $474.1 million, up 8.0%;
• Adjusted EBIT margin of 15.5%, up 70 basis points;
• Net earnings of $290.2 million, for a margin of 9.5% and diluted EPS of
$1.06;
• Net earnings excluding specific items* of $334.9 million, for a margin of

• Cash provided by operating activities of $465.3 million, up 18.8%;

Cognizant Intends to Acquire EI-Technologies, a Leading European Salesforce Platform
Specialist
Cognizant has entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire the French
operations of EI-Technologies, a Paris-based, privately-held digital
technology consulting firm and leading independent Salesforce specialist in
France. The proposed acquisition would complement Cognizant's global
Salesforce practice, expanding client resources in Europe. The planned
acquisition requires advance consultation with the relevant works councils
and would be subject to customary closing conditions. Financial terms of the
proposed transaction are not being disclosed. EI-Technologies is a Salesforce
Platinum Partner, and its EI-Institut is among the largest Salesforce
Authorized Training Delivery Partner centers in Europe. EI-Technologies'
clients include leading companies listed on the French stock market's CAC
40 index in the manufacturing, energy and utilities, financial services and
luxury industries. In addition to Salesforce expertise, the company also
specializes in Microsoft collaboration platform solutions and CIO advisory
services.

Cognizant Acquires Code Zero, a Leading Consultancy for Cloud-Based Configure-Price-Quote
and Billing Solutions
Cognizant announced it has acquired Code Zero Consulting, a privately-held
provider of consulting and implementation services for cloud-based
Configure-Price-Quote and billing solutions. The acquisition further
strengthens Cognizant's cloud solutions portfolio and Salesforce CPQ and
billing capabilities. Financial details were not disclosed. Founded in 2016,
Atlanta, Ga.-based Code Zero specializes in helping companies digitally
transform by providing strategy, implementation and migration capabilities to
evolve legacy systems to cloud-based CPQ and billing systems. Together
with contract lifecycle management, these systems make up Quote-to-Cash
solutions and enable clients to rapidly configure, price and quote complex
deals, automate the customer lifecycle and accelerate revenue. Code Zero is a
Salesforce Platinum Partner and includes leading global enterprises among
its clients across industries, particularly manufacturing and financial services.

General Dynamics Reports Fourth-Quarter and Full-Year 2019 Financial
Results
• Fourth-quarter net earnings of $1 billion, up 12.2%
• Fourth-quarter diluted EPS of $3.51, up 14.3%
• Fourth-quarter operating margin of 12.3%, up 50 basis points
• Full-year diluted EPS from continuing operations of $11.98, up 6.8%
• Backlog grew 28.1% to record-high $86.9 billion, for book-to-bill of 1.5-to-1 for the year
SEGMENT HIGHLIGHTS
• Aerospace revenue was $2.9 billion for the quarter, up 8.4% over the year-ago quarter, for full-year revenue of
$9.8 billion. Operating earnings were $480 million for the quarter, up 25.7% over the year-ago quarter, and
$1.5 billion for the year. Operating margin was 16.4% for the quarter, up 230 basis points over the year-ago
quarter, and 15.6% for the year. Backlog grew during the fourth quarter to $13.3 billion, up 17.4% from the end
of 2018. Book-to-bill was 1.7-to-1 for the quarter and 1.2-to-1 for the year.
• Combat Systems reported fourth-quarter revenue of $2 billion, up 13.1% over the year-ago quarter, for
full-year revenue of $7 billion. Operating earnings were $284 million, up 8.8% over the year-ago quarter, for
full-year operating earnings of $996 million. Operating margin was 14.4% for the quarter and 14.2% for the
year.
• Information Technology reported fourth-quarter revenue of $2 billion and $8.4 billion for the year. Operating
earnings were $172 million for the fourth quarter and $628 million for the year. Operating margin was 8.5% for
the quarter, up 40 basis points over the year-ago quarter, and 7.5% for the year. Total backlog was $9.1 billion,
up 14.7% from the end of 2018.
• Mission Systems reported fourth-quarter revenue of $1.3 billion, up 2.5% from the year-ago quarter, for
full-year revenue of $4.9 billion. Operating earnings were $188 million for the quarter, up 3.9% from the
year-ago quarter, and $683 million for the year. Operating margin was 14.7% for the quarter, up 20 basis points
from the year-ago quarter, and 13.8% for the year. Backlog was $5.4 billion.
• Marine Systems reported quarterly revenue of $2.6 billion, up 11.7% from the year-ago quarter, for full-year
revenue of $9.2 billion. Operating earnings were $199 million for the quarter and $785 million for the year.
Operating margin was 7.8% for the quarter and 8.5% for the year.

Genpact Reports Full Year and Fourth Quarter 2019 Results
Key Financial Results – Full Year 2019
• Total revenue was $3.52 billion, up 17% year-over-year.
• Net income attributable to Genpact Limited shareholders was $305 million, up 8%
year-over-year, with a corresponding margin of 8.7%.
• Income from operations was $429 million, up 23% year-over-year, with a corresponding
margin of 12.2%. Adjusted income from operations was $559 million, up 18%
year-over-year, with a corresponding margin of 15.9%.
• Diluted earnings per share was $1.56, up 8% year-over-year, and adjusted diluted
earnings per share2 was $2.05, up 14% year-over-year.
• New bookings were approximately $3.9 billion, consistent with 2018.4
• Cash generated from operations was $428 million, compared to $340 million in 2018.
Key Financial Results – Fourth Quarter 2019
• Total revenue was $941 million, up 13% year-over-year both on an as reported and
constant currency basis.1
• Net income attributable to Genpact Limited shareholders was $82 million, up 4%
year-over-year, with a corresponding margin of 8.7%.
• Income from operations was $120 million, up 8% year-over-year, with a corresponding
margin of 12.7%. Adjusted income from operations was $159 million, up 12%
year-over-year, with a corresponding margin of 16.9%.3
• Diluted earnings per share was $0.42, up 2% year-over-year, and adjusted diluted
earnings per share2 was $0.57, up 10% year-over-year.

Leidos Holdings, Inc. Reports Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2019 Results
Fourth Quarter Summary Results
• Revenues for the quarter were $2.95 billion, compared to $2.65 billion in the
prior year quarter, reflecting an 11.6% increase.
• Operating income for the quarter was $261 million, compared to $188 million
in the prior year quarter.
• Operating income margin increased to 8.8% from 7.1% in the prior year
quarter.
• Non-GAAP operating margin for the quarter was 10.5%, compared to 9.3% in
the prior year quarter, primarily due to favorable program mix.
• Diluted earnings per share attributable to Leidos common stockholders for the
quarter was $1.26, compared to $1.25 in the prior year quarter.
• Non-GAAP diluted EPS for the fourth quarter was $1.51 compared to $1.10 in
the prior year quarter.
• The weighted average diluted share count for the quarter was 144 million
compared to 150 million in the prior year quarter.

Leidos to acquire L3Harris Technologies’ Security Detection and Automation businesses
Leidos Holdings, Inc., a FORTUNE® 500 science and technology leader,
announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire L3Harris
Technologies’ Security Detection and Automation businesses, for $1 billion
in cash. The Boards of Directors of both companies unanimously approved
the transaction. L3Harris’ Security Detection and Automation businesses
provide airport and critical infrastructure screening products, automated tray
return systems and other industrial automation products. With headquarters in
Tewksbury, Mass. and Luton, England, the combined businesses have 1,200
employees and a global sales and services operations footprint with more
than 20,000 systems deployed world-wide across more than 100 countries.
The businesses serve customers in the aviation, transportation, government
and critical infrastructure markets. This acquisition adds complementary
products that expand Leidos’ offerings to create a comprehensive security
and detection platform. These products include checkpoint security products
like checkpoint CT scanners, people scanners, comprehensive explosives
trace detectors, checked baggage screeners and automated tray return
systems. The addition of this technology to the Leidos portfolio will enhance
the company’s offerings in a global security product market projected to
grow in excess of the federal budget.

Unisys Announces Full-Year and 4Q19 Results; Achieves All Guided Metrics
Summary of Full-Year 2019 Business Results
• 2019 revenue grew 4.4% year over year to $2.95 billion versus $2.83 billion in 2018. Non-GAAP adjusted revenue grew 6.1% to $2.93 billion, representing the second-consecutive year of year-over-year non-GAAP adjusted revenue
growth, and the highest annual growth rate since 1998. U.S.
• 2019 operating profit was $238.2 million, versus $284.1 million in 2018. Non-GAAP operating profit was up 7.1% year over year to $262.7 million. adoption of ASC 606 in 1Q18. Total company non-GAAP operating profit margin was
up 10 basis points year over year to 9.0%.
• Net loss for 2019 was $17.2 million versus net income of $75.5 million in 2018. As noted above, $53.0 million of this difference is a result of the operating profit recorded upon adoption of ASC 606 in 1Q18. The 2019 net loss also
reflects a $20.1 million charge related to the convertible note transaction, along with post-retirement expense that was $12.8 million higher year over year, and a $13.0 million charge related to costs to close out the remediation of a site the
company no longer operates.
• Adjusted EBITDA was $422.2 million, roughly flat relative to $422.5 million in 2018. Net income margin was (0.6)%, compared to 2.7% in 2018, with the year-over-year decline due to the flow-through of higher operating profit in 2018
resulting from the revenue recorded upon adoption of ASC 606, higher pension expense in 2019 and the other one-time items highlighted above in connection with net income/(loss). Adjusted EBITDA margin was in line with guidance at
14.4%, versus 15.3% in 2018.
• 2019 cash provided by operations was up $50.0 million year over year to $123.9 million, versus $73.9 million in 2018. Free cash flow was up $79.5 million year over year to $(35.9) million, compared to $(115.4) million in 2018.
Adjusted free cash flow was up $65.0 million year over year to $127.0 million, versus $62.0 million in 2018. At December 31, 2019, the company had $538.8 million in cash and cash equivalents.
Fourth Quarter 2019 Business Result
• Fourth-quarter 2019 revenue was $741.5 million, versus $760.9 million in the prior-year period. Non-GAAP adjusted revenue was $739.3 million, relative to $754.6 million in the prior-year period. In both cases, the year-over-year
decline was due to Technology revenues being more evenly distributed throughout the year in 2019, versus 2018 which saw lower full-year Technology revenue, but a higher concentration of that revenue in the fourth quarter. U.S. Federal
sector revenue grew 23.4% year over year.
• Operating profit margin in the fourth quarter was 5.0%, versus 9.5% in the prior-year period. Non-GAAP operating profit margin was 8.6% in the fourth quarter, relative to 11.9% in the prior-year period. In both cases, the year-over-year
decline was largely due to a more even distribution of Technology revenue throughout 2019 than in 2018, which saw a higher concentration in the fourth quarter.
• Net loss for the fourth quarter 2019 was $10.8 million versus net income of $25.0 million in the prior-year period, driven largely by the impact of Technology noted above. As a result, loss per share was $0.17, compared to earnings per
diluted share of $0.41 in the prior-year period, and non-GAAP earnings per diluted share was $0.60 per share versus $0.97 per share in the prior-year period.
• Adjusted EBITDA was $105.1 million versus $134.5 million in the prior-year period as a result of the timing of Technology revenue as noted above, and net income margin was (1.5) %, compared to 3.3% in the prior-year period.
Adjusted EBITDA margin was 14.2%, versus 17.8% in the prior-year period, with the year-over-year decline also resulting from the timing of Technology revenue.
• Operating cash flow in the fourth quarter was $125.7 million, versus $151.3 million in the prior-year period. Free cash flow was $95.6 million, compared to $103.1 million in the prior-year period. Adjusted free cash flow was up 12.4%
year over year to $139.1 million, versus $123.8 million in the prior-year period.

Accenture now provides its Cyber Incident Response Service to help AXA XL’s clients respond to and recover from cyberattacks. In
the event of an attack, AXA XL clients will now have access to Accenture Security’s global network of cybersecurity expertise and
technology solutions to help resolve cyber incidents. Accenture will provide post-breach security services for AXA XL clients outside
the U.S., including incident management and information technology forensics. AXA XL U.S. clients have the option to choose
Accenture to deliver post-breach services, among a group of other providers. The partnership between Accenture and AXA XL was
originally announced last year. The Cyber Incident Response Service guides affected companies through each stage of a cyber
incident claim, from the initial reporting of the attack to the Accenture Cyber Incident Response team to containing the breach and
restoring the business. Accenture also provides access to legal support, IT forensics and crisis communications advice as well as other
relevant value add services. Research from Accenture shows that businesses overall remain underinsured for cyberattacks, with total
premiums today accounting for less than 1% of the estimated US$600 billion annual cost of cybercrime. Accenture estimates that it
will cost organizations US$5.2 trillion globally over the next five years in additional costs and lost revenue to deal with the
implications of cyberattacks.

The U.S. Navy has named Accenture the prime systems integrator for its Model Based Product Support program, a
logistics information technology transformation effort designed to increase the Navy’s weapon system uptime and
reduce support costs. Under the 12-month, $11.3 million other transaction agreement, Accenture Federal Services will
help improve Naval Sea Systems Command’s maritime MBPS family of integrated systems, which provide enterprise
product data and readiness analytics services. As part of its work AFS will develop a prototype maintenance and supply
resource optimization model that can dynamically execute maintenance and supply actions on ships and submarines and
meet mission readiness requirements. The prototype solution will provide support both ashore and afloat and will be

BAE Systems has received a $113.5 million contract from the U.S. Marine Corps for an additional 26 Amphibious Combat Vehicles
under the Low-Rate Initial Production phase of the program. This award brings the total vehicle orders for the ACV to 116, and moves
the program closer to full-rate production. The ACV is a highly mobile, survivable and adaptable platform for conducting rapid
ship-to-shore operations and brings enhanced combat power to the battlefield. BAE Systems has been in low-rate production since
2018 on the personnel carrier variant in the ACV family, which is envisioned to consist of additional variants including command and
control, 30mm medium caliber turret, and recovery versions. The BAE Systems team and the U.S. Marine Corps have been making
significant strides to reach full-rate production, including the successful completion of Logistics Demonstration as a critical enabler for
the program to move into Initial Operational Test and Evaluation with trained U.S. Marine maintainers. This and other major
milestones such as operator training and additional testing will take place before full-rate production. The Marine Corps selected BAE

operate digital capabilities based on artificial intelligence, internet of things, data analytics, and mobility technologies that will
help improve Network Rail's asset management and overall performance. Cognizant will lead the consortium in developing and
applying enhanced data collection and analytics to Network Rail's more than 12,000 connected assets, such as track circuits,
signal power supplies, and switches. The new capabilities will equip Network Rail with real-time condition monitoring and
data-driven insights, aided by artificial intelligence, to improve decision-making and asset management. Network Rail expects
to lower costs and enhance safety by predicting and preventing maintenance issues, prioritizing work streams and minimizing
the time rail workers spend on the tracks. Passengers and freight customers are expected to experience fewer travel
disruptions.

General Dynamics Information Technology announced it was awarded a new $505 million contract by the National Oceanic
and Atmospheric Administration’s National Weather Service to provide supercomputing resources as-a-service through
NOAA’s Weather and Climate Operational Supercomputing System contract. The systems will be designed, deployed and
managed by GDIT and used to perform intense modeling of weather and climate patterns for use in generating forecast
products supporting the National Weather Service. The single-award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity blanket purchase
agreement holds a total estimated value of $505 million. It includes a base period of eight years with one two-year option.
Through this contract, GDIT will receive task orders related to high-performance computing deliverables, including an initial
task order of $150 million. Through this contract, GDIT will deploy two HPC systems at two sites on separate electrical power
grids to support the numerical weather prediction suite of models used in national weather forecasting. The contract will
provide two equal computing systems with one serving as the operational system and the other primarily used for development
when serving as the backup. This will ensure operational readiness in the event that one system goes down, enabling the
immediate transition of operations from one site to the other within minutes.

Disease Control and Prevention to provide technical support services for the Center for Preparedness and Response under a
Blanket Purchase Agreement. The multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, firm-fixed-price, time and materials
contract has a five-year base period of performance and a total potential value of $100 million. Work will be performed
primarily in Atlanta, Ga. The Center for Preparedness and Response has primary oversight and responsibility for all programs
that comprise CDC's public health preparedness and response portfolio. Through an all-hazards approach to preparedness,
focusing on threats from natural, biological, chemical, nuclear, and radiological events, CPR helps the nation prepare for and
respond to urgent threats to the public's health. Under the contract, Leidos will provide support to a broad range of professional
services supporting CPR including public health management; administrative, financial, and technical assistance; health
communication; scientific and medical consulting; and project management. Leidos will leverage its reliable mission critical
operational and emergency response services to enhance the overall coordination, oversight, and accountability of emergency
response activities throughout the CDC.

VanBerlo innovates products and services for companies in many industries, including fast-moving consumer goods, mobility, healthcare, banking and high-tech. The agency’s smart connected solutions combine physical objects with digital services, using technologies like internet of things sensors, artificial intelligence and data analytics. These solutions can provide more personalized offerings and convenience to users while offering companies new ways to expand their businesses. VanBerlo has a team of more than 90 professionals working from studios in Eindhoven and The Hague. They have deep experience in innovation and product strategy; product, software and user experience design; and prototyping, with a focus on sustainable solutions. The proposed acquisition would complement Cognizant's global Salesforce practice, expanding client resources in Europe. The planned acquisition requires advance consultation with the relevant works councils and would be subject to customary closing conditions. Financial terms of the proposed transaction are not being disclosed. The acquisition further strengthens Cognizant's cloud solutions portfolio and Salesforce CPQ and billing capabilities. Financial details were not disclosed. Founded in 2016, Atlanta, Ga.-based Code Zero specializes in helping companies digitally transform by providing strategy, implementation and migration capabilities to evolve legacy systems to cloud-based CPQ and billing systems. Together with contract lifecycle management, these systems make up Quote-to-Cash solutions and enable clients to rapidly configure, price and quote complex deals, automate the customer lifecycle and accelerate revenue.
