Foundation and a local florists shop.

Student Sketchbooks
On each table are 2 student sketchbooks. Compare and contrast them and make points on
the following:
•Artist research – how detailed it is? Does it link to the students work?
•Is their reflection descriptive (say what you see) or analytical (relates to concept and
enhances ideas/projects new ideas and thoughts)
•Use of lighting and composition in their images – list the positives and negatives
Summer Project: Self Portrait Project
• Take 6-10 final photographs of things that
mean something to you, as well as a self-
portrait.
• These should be printed and mounted in your
sketchbook with reflection explaining why
you’ve taken them, and any lighting and
compositional techniques that you have used.
Summer Project: Artist Research
Research one of the following historical photographers:
