Volvic is a brand of mineral water sourced from springs in the Auvergne Regional Park in France. The springs were first tapped in 1922 and bottles were produced starting in 1938. Today over 1 billion bottles are produced annually in two bottling plants. Since 1997, Volvic uses recyclable PETE bottles. A print advertisement features a diagram of the volcano springs and text about deep hydration. A recent TV ad called "Unstoppable Volcanicity" promotes the natural power of the volcano in a dramatic way to appeal to older audiences.
