STEP 2
Profile of the six-year-old
Describe a six-year-old in terms of behavior, skills, and attitude through a profile:
-Antes de diseñar la evaluación, debe especificar cómo es el comportamiento en un niño de
seis años.
At this age, children can already dress themselves, catch a ball more easily with just their hands,
and tie their shoes. Now it is more important for them to be a little more independent from the
family. Events like starting school bring children at this age into regular contact with the larger
world. Friendships become more important. In this stage they quickly develop physical, social and
mental skills. It is essential that at this stage the child learns to gain confidence in all areas of life,
such as friendships, school activities and sports.
-Nivel de inglés
Low level of English, only knowing very simple words like "Goodbye, Hello, Good morning".
-Learning style
Association with images:
This is very helpful for the child since it allows him to relate vocabulary; both cards and drawings
are used in digital version. s, this is made much easier because it has a range of different materials
related to the contents so it has more options to relate vocabulary. This is particularly important in
a foreign language class, in which spaces are provided to the maximum to avoid the use of the
mother tongue, such as the use of images, to make a direct relationship with the lexical component,
or body language.
- Factors that help or hinder your language learning
-To have a space for language teaching that allows identification with the subject and gives it an
important role.
-The methodology used in the classroom for teaching English. In the first instance, it is relevant.
-The teaching person must be in charge of determining the topics according to the interests and
needs of the student.
- Activities that the child does
-The child in his stage jumps and jumps with ease.
-Identify sounds and images of their environment, through the game.
-Relate taking into account specific capabilities.
- Make movements stop being a block and dance with harmony.
-They have greater ability in the fine motor skills of their fingers.
-You can tie your shoelaces without much difficulty.
-You can trim with scissors with ease. Able to dress and undress without assistance.
- Behaviour
The child presents a normal behavior, this due to his age wants to spend most of the time playing,
exploring, manipulating objects, knowing about them asking everything that worries him, he is
receptive because he himself learns from the information he hears and observes around him.
-Ability to count to "10" and understand the concept.
The child understands these numbers and relates them by counting them with objects in the
environment and by hearing their name.
-Ability to express oneself well through words.
The child has a little scarce vocabulary, uses words from his environment but does not express
himself with confidence.
- Learning process of reading and writing.
Regarding the reading and writing process, many shortcomings are identified because the child has
learned based on education from home, which has not allowed him to develop some skills, since
despite the fact that his cognitive part is too functional and understands for example the word is
not able to read it easily and in the same way it is difficult to capture it.
.
STEP 3
What is the evaluation looking for?
The evaluation seeks to know and identify the shortcomings or aptitudes of those evaluated in order
to know the level of knowledge acquired, we can say that there are many ways to evaluate, not just
a questionnaire or a sheet and pencil, no. To evaluate we can use many practical, innovative and
fun tools for the case of children, in order to improve our teaching method if necessary. With the
evaluation, the teacher can describe how much knowledge the students have on the subject or what
are the shortcomings as a teacher or if the method of explanation is not adequate.
What is it evaluated for?
It is evaluated in order to know the level of learning or to check if the subject we have taught has
been understood by students, in most cases and educational institutions the evaluation is used to
grade and assign a grade or number to each student, although personally I think it is wrong, that is
the method used for our country.
What will the information obtained be used for?
We can use it to have bases regarding the different levels of foreign language learning, to know at
what level we are and our students are according to the references of the common European
framework.
General objective for Cambridge evaluation
The objective of the Cambrigh assessment is to provide playful and creative activities in order to
motivate and awaken the interest of the child to solve the different listening, writing and reading
activities in order to know the children's level of English.
It also gives us ideas and different strategies to take into account as future teachers of the foreign
language.
 The student will learn nouns such as animals, colors and objects, they will also be able to
relate simple commands.
 The student will improve their listening level to understand and interpret simple
commands.
 She will be able to match pictures to short sentences.
Validity for a Cambridge evaluation
This evaluation allows us to know the student's level of English, taking into account the different
strategies and methods used both to explain and to teach it. The proposed activities are designed
for children between 6 and 12 years of age, which allows them to interact with the tools and
activities proposed.

  • 2. STEP 2 Profile of the six-year-old Describe a six-year-old in terms of behavior, skills, and attitude through a profile: -Antes de diseñar la evaluación, debe especificar cómo es el comportamiento en un niño de seis años. At this age, children can already dress themselves, catch a ball more easily with just their hands, and tie their shoes. Now it is more important for them to be a little more independent from the family. Events like starting school bring children at this age into regular contact with the larger world. Friendships become more important. In this stage they quickly develop physical, social and mental skills. It is essential that at this stage the child learns to gain confidence in all areas of life, such as friendships, school activities and sports. -Nivel de inglés Low level of English, only knowing very simple words like "Goodbye, Hello, Good morning". -Learning style Association with images: This is very helpful for the child since it allows him to relate vocabulary; both cards and drawings are used in digital version. s, this is made much easier because it has a range of different materials related to the contents so it has more options to relate vocabulary. This is particularly important in a foreign language class, in which spaces are provided to the maximum to avoid the use of the mother tongue, such as the use of images, to make a direct relationship with the lexical component, or body language.
  • 3. - Factors that help or hinder your language learning -To have a space for language teaching that allows identification with the subject and gives it an important role. -The methodology used in the classroom for teaching English. In the first instance, it is relevant. -The teaching person must be in charge of determining the topics according to the interests and needs of the student. - Activities that the child does -The child in his stage jumps and jumps with ease. - Behaviour The child presents a normal behavior, this due to his age wants to spend most of the time playing, exploring, manipulating objects, knowing about them asking everything that worries him, he is receptive because he himself learns from the information he hears and observes around him.
  • 4. -Ability to count to "10" and understand the concept. The child understands these numbers and relates them by counting them with objects in the environment and by hearing their name. -Ability to express oneself well through words. The child has a little scarce vocabulary, uses words from his environment but does not express himself with confidence. - Learning process of reading and writing. Regarding the reading and writing process, many shortcomings are identified because the child has learned based on education from home, which has not allowed him to develop some skills, since despite the fact that his cognitive part is too functional and understands for example the word is not able to read it easily and in the same way it is difficult to capture it. .
  • 5. STEP 3 What is the evaluation looking for? The evaluation seeks to know and identify the shortcomings or aptitudes of those evaluated in order to know the level of knowledge acquired, we can say that there are many ways to evaluate, not just a questionnaire or a sheet and pencil, no. To evaluate we can use many practical, innovative and fun tools for the case of children, in order to improve our teaching method if necessary. With the evaluation, the teacher can describe how much knowledge the students have on the subject or what are the shortcomings as a teacher or if the method of explanation is not adequate. What is it evaluated for? It is evaluated in order to know the level of learning or to check if the subject we have taught has been understood by students, in most cases and educational institutions the evaluation is used to grade and assign a grade or number to each student, although personally I think it is wrong, that is the method used for our country. What will the information obtained be used for? We can use it to have bases regarding the different levels of foreign language learning, to know at what level we are and our students are according to the references of the common European framework.
  • 6. General objective for Cambridge evaluation The objective of the Cambrigh assessment is to provide playful and creative activities in order to motivate and awaken the interest of the child to solve the different listening, writing and reading activities in order to know the children's level of English. It also gives us ideas and different strategies to take into account as future teachers of the foreign language.  The student will learn nouns such as animals, colors and objects, they will also be able to relate simple commands.  The student will improve their listening level to understand and interpret simple commands.  She will be able to match pictures to short sentences.
