1. Target Audience
Here are two examples of my target audience between the ages of 16 up
to around 35. It shows who my film is aimed at with certain things that
they think of my ideas and what they like to see in horror films.
I chose this age range as that is the age I thought it was suitable for
people to view a horror film, any younger and they may become
frightened or upset therefore making it unsuitable.
People of that age generally are more interested in the genre than older
people may be so I have written it in a way people of that generation can
relate to, such as using similar aged actors.
People of older ages can still appreciate this although I thought they are
less likely to be interested so did not choose to aim it so specifically
towards them.

2. This is Calum McConnachie, he is 18 years old therefore fits perfectly
into my target audience age range.
He enjoys watching horror films, such as Insidious and The Blair Witch
Project due to the suspense and shock that is a key feature.
I have written my film so as to use those features to keep people with
similar views as Calum gripped throughout.

3. This is Bronwen, a stereotypical female
teenager who likes watching horror
movies with her friends and will often
spend evenings watching multiple horror
films.
She enjoys them due to being kept in
suspense throughout and not knowing
what's going to happen as well as having
a complicated twist at the end that can
lead to endless discussion afterwards.
One of her favourite films is the Hills
have eyes, because of the fear whilst
watching it, not knowing whats going to
happen and the fact that it is very
“jumpy.”
