The TAP is located in the center of Tarragona near the port and connected to public transportation. It has been renovated from an old bullring into a modern multi-purpose facility under a 92 meter metal dome with a maximum capacity of 10,000 people. The TAP has vehicle and service entrances and interior areas for events, including a 55 meter diameter arena and 1,800 square meter gallery space, making it suitable to host various corporate events, conventions, shows and more.

public transport. It has a strategic location as it
can be accessed from the ring expressway and the
Reus road.
Moreover, the TAP is only 80 km away from Barcelona airport, 7 km away from Reus airport and
70 km away at the most of the main towns of the
province of Tarragona such as Amposta, Cambrils,
Tortosa and Valls.
With regard to the railway connection, TAP is only
10 minutes away from the AVE station with
high speed trains coming from: Barcelona, Madrid, Zaragoza and Paris.

THE TAP AREA
Tarraco Arena Plaça (TAP) is one of the most innovative projects
in southern Europe, a multi-purpose site located in a flagship
building in Tarragona that has been renovated, remodeled and
transformed into a unique facility available to the inhabitants of
Tarragona and all domestic and foreign visitors.
Located in Tarragona’s old bullring, of a modernist architecture and
built in 1883, it has preserved its exterior whilst the interior
has been turned into a modern facility covered by a 92 meter
diameter metal dome with a retractable central area. The particular
arena of this area has 55 meters diameter for a variable amount of
public depending on the type of event, considering 10,000 people
as the maximum approximate capacity.
The impressive central area, its vast capacity, its acoustics and
technological equipment make the TAP a state-of-the-art leisure
and cultural centre where the citizen’s interests converge with
the institutional and corporate interests. A unique opportunity to

ACCESSES
AND AREAS
The TAP has an entrance on Mallorca Street and
has a special entrance for trailers and large vehicles, which have direct access to the arena.
The part of the square which boarders with Ibiza
street and part of Jaume I street has terraces,
stairs and ramps which allow easy access and exit
for people attending the events.
Inside the old bullring there are two clearly differentiated areas designed to hold events:
The TAP arena: a surface area of 2,376 m2 and a
total diameter of 55 meters.
The TAP gallery: 1,800 m2 of open space to hold
acts and corporate events.
