I have been the principal of
Options Public Charter School
summer
sessions with a staff of 15 as my
direct reports. This position
required me to handle difficult
students and situations that called
for discipline on various levels.
I've dealt with parents and
communicated to them, sometimes
on a daily basis about their child's
progress or behavior.
I am currently teaching at The
Goddard School in their Kindergarten
Enrichment class, which
enhances LCPS curriculum and state
standards. I plan daily educational
activities, conduct
on-boarding for new teachers, serve as
a member of the TRT (Teacher
Resource
Team), and work on NAYCE
accreditation.
SUMMER PROGRAMS
I have 9 years of experience teaching, with a
variety of levels from 1st-8th grades. I have
been the Technology Teacher at Options
Public Charter School
where I developed the curriculum and
incorporated projects across
all subjects. I am passionate about the kids,
teaching, and
inspiring children to learn new concepts. I
have taught using
Expeditionary Learning, which incorporates
all the core subjects
with the same theme or subject matter.
