1. Talent Recruitment – Project Manager - GE Healthcare Life Sciences
Champion > Created and execution of recruitment strategy. Partnered with the Project
Management team (senior leaders in LS business of Life Sciences Northeast Hub) on the
relocation of its headquarters from NJ to MA.
The plan, to hire ~220 new roles over the period of 10 months – this is not “business as
usual”. Senior Leadership, Human Resources and the US Talent Recruitment Team partnered to
execute new best practices, simplified the hiring transactional processes and committed to
significantly reducing the hiring cycle to get the highest quality candidates in the shortest possible
time. The team also strategized how to create a great candidate experience and incorporating an
effectively “selling” of Life Sciences job opportunities in the new mark etplace.
This is GEHC’s most significant business project of 2014 which will have a positive impact on the
future of LS business in hiring the right people in the new location and creating a new Life
Sciences culture there are the most critical success factors.
Created Heat Maps of top talent
Built Road Map across business functions, including Marketing, R+D, Quality/Regulatory
Affairs, Sales, etc.
Ramped up team- hired and additional recruitment and support staff
Updated Process Map- partnered to streamlined operational best practices in
recruitment, HR and HM- escalation and accountability.
Engagement of tools and sources – Social Media, GlassDoor, Niche web sites, Job fairs,
University, etc.
