Even with all the technology available today, the oil and gas engineering design process remains mostly document-based.
The majority of our work processes, specifications, organizational structure, and discipline responsibilities were developed at a time when data/information was recorded on paper. As a result, we are set up to think in documents instead of data and our work processes and organizational structure is set up to think in terms of document transfer, not data transfer. This legacy of a document based engineering design process has placed limits on the oil and gas industry’s ability to adapt to changes in technology, compress engineering design schedules, and implement changes late in a project. This talk will propose an alternative engineering execution process in ‘oil and gas capital projects that can realize the benefits of machine learning and the latest digital technologies that are transforming similar industries.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

ERP1
- Communication with XML interface
- Paste printer transmits latest configurations to SPI
- SPI inspects printed PCB
- Measuring the X- and Y-mismatch
- Measuring height and volume of the paste
- Monitoring the soiling of the stencil
- Report results to the MES
- Response of SPI to the paste printer with the corrective configurations
quick and exact setup of the stencil position at the printer
Constant corrections of the stencil position
Mismatch at the stencil printer and subsequently downtimes at
the SPI decrease
Cleaning the stencil if necessary
Savings in auxiliary production materials
Higher throughput
- Validation of product, order, BoM, LP-batch
- Request: assembly unit serial number
- Feedback: marking results
- Validation of Batches
- Feedback of material consumption and
rejects
- Feedback: placement result
