The Irish Challenge – what is it?
The Irish Challenge was set up to allow anyone in the US to
travel to Ireland for any sporting or group event. All you have
to do is raise $3,900 for the charity Children in Hospital
Ireland and you will receive a round trip ticket to Ireland to
participate in your chosen event. You can pick any sporting or
group event in Ireland. Travel from select cities in the US to
Dublin or Shannon in Ireland, no seasonal restrictions, you
can travel on any date and return on any date. Minimum stay: 3 days. Maximum stay: 90 days.
Ireland is not only the best country in the world to visit, but it’s also home to world class sporting
events. Name any sporting event and it is mostly likely happening in Ireland, from Iron Man to Irish
Dancing, Martial Arts to Run-a-Muck, there is an Irish sporting event to suit everyone. We can also help
you pick a sporting or group event; please contact our office for more information.
Remember it’s all about the Irish charity that you are fund raising for, so your sport is merely a way to
show that you are willing to train and go the extra mile for Children in Hospital Ireland.
Matching Gifts:
Many companies sponsor matching gift programs that will match charitable contributions made by their
employees. Some even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. These programs are a great way
for companies to support your charity work and a chance for you to double or even triple your gift! To
find out more about this program you need to contact your Human Resource department to see if this is
available to you. If it’s available for you then you just need to raise $1,950 for the round trip ticket to
Ireland!

We will also supply you with raffle tickets for our draw for “Two Round Trip Tickets to Ireland”. Your
friends and family will gladly donate cash for the raffle and if they win, they could join you on your
vacation to Ireland!
