Nowadays, road safety is one of the priority of the government to avoid accidents. Road safety adopts those methods that can prevent road users from being seriously injured or killed. Most of the accidents happened during night time when the driver is unable to see its path clearly especially during blind cuts on roads and on hilly areas. In the conventional headlight's beam of light is focussed only in a single direction that is only in front direction. Our present invention provides a more degree of freedom to the front light which enables these lights to synchronize with the rotation of steering using infrared sensor controlled by microcontroller. The ADXL345 is a small, thin, low power, 3-axis accelerometer with high resolution (13-bit)measurement at up to ±16 g. Digital output data is formatted as 16-bit twos complement and is accessible through either a SPI (3- or 4-wire) or I2C digital interface. The ADXL345 is well suited for mobile device applications. It measures the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications, as well as dynamic acceleration resulting from motion or shock. Its high resolution (4 mg/LSB) enables measurement of inclination changes less than 1.0°. Several special sensing functions are provided. Activity and inactivity sensing detect the presence or lack of motion and if the acceleration on any axis exceeds a user-set level. Tap sensing detects single and double taps. Free-fall sensing detects if the device is falling. These functions can be mapped to one of two interrupt output pins. An integrated, patent pending 32-level first in, first out (FIFO) buffer can be used to store data to minimize host processor intervention. Low power modes enable intelligent motion based power management with threshold sensing and active acceleration measurement at extremely low power dissipation.

In many industrial applications, liquid flow measurement is an essential necessity. In some operations, the ability to quantify flow accurately is essential and can be the difference between a profit and a loss. After many requests during our meetups we have decided to focus a webinar about IoT/M2M sensors and security risks and issues. We will discuss about the various types of sensors, the conversion to digital data, security objectives and issues.
When deploying Internet of Things and machine-to-machine application devices, the connected device generally needs to report more than just its physical location. There is a universe of sensors and devices, we will talk about the more common ones.
In her keynote speech at the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2015, the US Federal Trade Commission Chairperson Edith Ramirez noted “any device that is connected to the Internet is at risk of being hijacked.” Whether that device is a smartphone, an automobile infotainment system, an automated diabetes monitor, or a GPS-guided farm tractor, specific protections for security of Internet of Things and machine-to-machine devices and applications must be built into the entire solution. We will talk about the basic requirements of security implementations and the different methods commonly used to increase the overall security of IoT/M2M data and applications.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.

Tachometer
1. Tachometer Measuring Instrument for Sale @ 9810536887
A tachometer is basically a measuring instrument, which is designed in a way that can measure
the rotation speed of a rotating object. Traditionally, the device would comprise of a dial and a
needle which indicates the current readings and markings, the markings would also tell the safe
and dangerous levels. Presently however the digital tachometers have taken over the
traditional ones. They show the readings in a digitized format, as against the needle and the dial
and hence are much more resourceful.
In this article, we shall discuss the various common types of tachometers which are prevalent in
the industry. Each different type of tachometer has different applications. Some are used in the
automotive industries and planes, where as others are used in medical instruments and
hospitals etc. Take a look at various types of industrial tachometers to understand them better.
Voltage Based Tachometers - as the name suggests, these are the
tachometers which require a source of voltage to determine the
speed and perform various other tasks. An example of voltage based
tachometers would be the DC generator tachometer and also the
drag cup tachometer. They have a very simple way of functioning.
The amount of voltage which is being produced will be directly
proportional to the speed of the tachometer. Thus, these
tachometers are capable of providing both direction and speed to
the rotation.
Frequency type tachometers - this frequency type tachometer calculates the amount of pulses
produced due to a rotating field tachometer. They require a higher degree of precision and
digital circuitry, as opposed to the voltage based tachometer, which are barely simple to use.
Laser Tachometers - Traditionally, a tachometer would require a contact between the
instruments and an object which is being measured. However, in various settings, where the
physical contact is not feasible, due to various safety reasons or technical reasons, the laser
Tachometer are used in order to take the measurements from a safer distance. The working of
tachometer, though is complex, but is fairly simple to understand. A tight beam of light is
pulsed against the rotating object from a distance.
In the automobile industry, these tachometers have a significance of their own. They are used
to measure the revolutions per minute of the engine and hence help to determine whether the
engine is up to its peak performance or not. Depending up on the nature of the industry that
your company belongs to, pick up the most apt Tachometer from the given range.
