THE TABERNACLE (Israel – the chosen people) Exodus 19: 5-6   ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people:  for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests,  and an holy nations . Exodus 40: 38   T he cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day,  and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, through-out all their journeys Deut.4: 7   For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for? (Now Church a peculiar people chosen in Christ –  1.Peter 2: 9 )
THE TABERNACLE PILLAR OF FIRE AND PILLAR OF CLOUD Exodus.40:  36-38   And when the cloud was taken up from over the  tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:  But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the  day that it was taken up.  For  the cloud  of the LORD was upon the  tabernacle by day , and  fire  was on it by night , in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout  all their journeys. Numbers.9: 19   And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle  many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD,  and journeyed not. THE TABERNACLE How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD   (Ps.84: 1) (desired by every Israelite-  Ps.122: 1 ) Tent was at the center and they longed for it. (See picture - shows the general view of the camp) Heb. 9:1-4   Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.  For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the  candlestick, and the table , and the shew bread; which is called the   sanctuary. And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is  called the Holiest  of all; Which had the golden censer, and the  ark of the  covenant  overlaid round about with gold.

THE TABERNACLE HOW LONG TABERNACLE WAS IN USE Acts 7: 44-45   Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen. Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David   (For a period of 350 years) HOW IT WAS FOR A WORSHIPPER Psalms 84: 3-4   Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow  a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars,  O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.

THE TABERNACLE ARRANGEMENT OF CAMPING   (Num. THE TABERNACLE UNIQUENESS OF CHRIST  – As high priest Heb.10: 11-12   And every priest standeth   daily ministering and   offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take  away sins :   But  this man, after   he had offered one sacrifice for   sins   for ever,   sat down  on the right hand of God; (Heb.1: 3) Heb.10: 14   For by one offering   he hath perfected   for ever   them that are sanctified. John 14:23   Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he  will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and  we will come  unto him, and make our abode  with him . Colossians 1:27   To whom God would make known what is the riches  of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is  Christ in you ,  the hope of glory: Romans 8:11   But if  the Spirit of him  that raised up Jesus from the  dead  dwell in you , he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also  quicken your mortal bodies by his  Spirit that dwelleth  in you. Curtain of FINE LINEN   (Sanctuary with cherubim) Ten pieces:   Each 28 cubit length and 4 cubits width Each had five five loops on one side - to join with other) Five each coupled together( with golden taches -  v.6 ) (Was seen from inside and not visible out side-  Ps.84:1) Seen by God and all who serve within the sanctuary) 2. Curtain of GOAT HAIR   (covering the sanctuary- v.12) Eleven pieces :  Each  30  cubit length and 4 cubit width five  together and  six  together coupled with  brass taches (Seen to the back and front and overlapped- v. 12-13 ) Where is the lamb?
