2. FEAR OF THE LORD Beginning of a life of wisdom The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: Ps. 111: 11; Prov. 1: 7 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee (Ps.63:1) The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. (Ps.53:1)

3. FEAR OF THE LORD Instructs in the path of life The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom Prov.15: 33 For the LORD giveth wisdom: Prov.2: 6 They did not choose the fear of the LORD: (Prov.1: 29)

4. FEAR OF THE LORD Enriches the life The fear of the LORD tendeth to life Pro.19: 23 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel .Ps.16: 7 A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand (Ps.92: 6)

10. FEAR OF THE LORD Shall be satisfied in life Better is little with the fear of the LORD Prov.15: 16 He that hath it shall abide satisfied; (Prov.19: 23) I s better than the riches of many wicked. (Ps.37: 16)

11. FEAR OF THE LORD Shall have confidence in life In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence Prov.14: 26 LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? (Ps.27: 1) The fear of man bringeth a snare (Prov.29: 25)

12. FEAR OF THE LORD Greatly rewarding in life By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life. Prov.22: 4 Be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long. For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off. (Prov.23: 17-18)

13. FEAR OF THE LORD God demands of every man Fear God, and give glory to him; (Rev. 14: 7) Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. (Everlasting gospel to the wicked world)

14. FEAR OF THE LORD To the men Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. To the woman A woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. To everyone to the end of the earth Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. (Ecc.12: 13)
