Shekinah Glory:   The dwelling or presence of Yahweh Exd 40:33- 35   And he erected the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set  up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.  Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord  filled the tabernacle. And Moses was not able to enter the tent of  meeting because the cloud  settled  ( shakan:  or the shekinah as in  shekinah glory )  on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. The Hebrew word  Sh'cheenah , or as we usually refer to it " shekinah ,"  comes from a verb meaning to settle, inhabit or dwell. Its frequent use  in the Old Testament scriptures literally means the "dwelling" or  "presence" of Yahweh with his people.
Tabernacle vs. Temple of God:  The difference PAST Tabernacle: Temporary Place.  Ex 25:15 The  staves  shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.  Temple: Permanent Place.  1Ki 8:8  And they drew out the  staves , that the ends of the staves were seen out in the holy [place]  before the oracle, and they were not seen without: and there they are unto this day.  Though provided as a permanent place it was only a pattern that pointed to the Future.
