6. Shekinah Glory: The dwelling or presence of Yahweh Exd 40:33- 35 And he erected the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work. Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. And Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud settled ( shakan: or the shekinah as in shekinah glory ) on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. The Hebrew word Sh'cheenah , or as we usually refer to it " shekinah ," comes from a verb meaning to settle, inhabit or dwell. Its frequent use in the Old Testament scriptures literally means the "dwelling" or "presence" of Yahweh with his people.
