This document summarizes a student project to modify PVC pipes to reduce noise from flowing water. The students' objectives were to increase pipe density and reduce friction between the water and pipe interior. They developed a new PVC pipe formulation, tested prototype pipes, and found their modified formulation reduced ash content and improved compression strength compared to a reference pipe. Their aim was to design a quieter pipe for carrying water.

2. AIM AND OBJECTIVES
 As we know that when water from height are falling down in the pipe,
it create sound which may disturb human beings .
Our main aim to reduce the sound which occurs during water flowing
in the pipe.
Targeted remedies
By increasing the density of pipe.
By reducing coefficient of friction between inside wall of
pipe and flowing water.
