ARTICULATION I – ACTIVITIES
1. Write a paragraph with your personal information; please include your name, last
name, your hometown, age, and occupation. (30 words)
2. Introduce yourself to 5 of your classmates using the information above, take notes
from the people that you speak to and read the information to the rest of the class.
3. Choose a celebrity that you like, find out information about him/her, and underline
the most important information such as: age, real name, place of birth, hobbies,
personality, etc., prepare a short presentation with the information above (include
pictures).
4. Solve exercises on the MyEnglishLab platform for unit 1.
ARTICULATION II – ACTIVITIES
1. Pretend that you are organizing a local event in your town; it can be related to music,
arts, acting,etc.Prepare a posterinwhichyou will specify the location,time,date,who
is going to perform, give directions, etc.
2. Draw a map of your neighborhood, and include all of the facilities; get in pairs and
explainittoyourpartner;make sure he/she understandswhereyour house is located.
3. Prepare a power point presentation about your family. Include photos of your family
and include a brief piece of information.
4. Write about traditions in Ecuador. Use 30 words.
5. Solve exercises on the MyEnglishLab platform for units 2-3.
ARTICULATION III – ACTIVITIES
1. Make a listof healthyfood and look for information about the benefits of this type of
food for the body. Prepare a poster and show it to your class.
2. Find information about “MY PLATE” which is a new trend in nutrition proposed by
Michelle Obama. Prepare a power point presentation explaining what she proposes
through this nice idea and conclude if you think it is helpful or not.

3. Solve exercises on the MyEnglishLab platform for unit 4.
ARTICULATION IV – ACTIVITIES
1. Invent your own technology gadget, after that draw it on a piece of paper and finally
make a power point presentation explaining all the things it can do as well as its
characteristics.
2. Write about the pros and cons of technology. (30 words)

Effective use of ICTinEnglishlessonsoffersthe potential to transform teaching and learning.
An appropriate application of ICT can provide the students with opportunities to use their
skills to assist and progress their learning in English.
The ICT usedto develop this syllabus include the use of data show in class to present Power
Point Presentations, movies, video-audio aids and music. In addition the students will use

activities on-line,whichwill helpthemreinforce the contentstudiedinclassand keep track of
their progress.
RESEARCH IN THE EFL LEARNING
Researchisan importantpart of the learning process it gives students the means to develop

summarizing and making their own conclusions. Besides, students are able to give opinions
and learn about the world we live in.
Through Topic based research students will get information related to the topics studied in
