STATEMENT OF PERSONAL LEARNING GOALS
The main reasons I have for taking this syllabus “Advanced English II” are to practice
and use the language in real context. Another important reason is to improve my
pronunciation and fluency at the moment to express my ideas and opinions.
Furthermore, the mains expectations that I have are to improve my English skills
learning more vocabulary and improving spelling and punctuation in my compositions.

III. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES
Purpose: This module is intended to prepare students for international Cambridge

evidence those students have reached an effective operational proficiency or advanced
B2 (Common European Framework).
Course Description: (Abstract)
At the end of this module, students will be able to:
Firstly, identify a wide range of demanding vocabulary for most general topic areas.
Secondly, apply strategies for expressing ideas fluently and spontaneously without
much obvious searching for expressions. Thirdly, use language flexibly and effectively
for social, academic and professional purposes. Fourthly, produce clear, well-
structured detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organizational

very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most
complex situations. This module contributes to the competences students develop in
the other modules that are part of the Communicative Competence.
In order to create a good learning atmosphere in which students can process and
internalize the information, some approaches will be used, such as the Communicative
Language Teaching, Functional approach and Cooperative learning. Furthermore, in
this module students will participate in formative and summative assessment. The FCE
(First Certificate In English) corresponds to the Council Common European
Framework level B2.
