13. Experience of Farmers
Purandar Bindhani, Biraguda, Phiringia
says that he has been able to double the
production of paddy, grow 5 quintals of
potato, tomato for household
consumption, cauliflower and cabbage
that yielded an income of Rs. 7000,
maize worth Rs. 2400 and 15 kgs of
mustard for household consumption.

Lembati Pradhan, an inhabitant of
Nahudimaha, K. Nuagaon says, “DBI
facility has been a much awaited
succour for the women who faced a lot
of problems especially when there were
guests in the house or torrential rain”.
