Dan Schultz

Dan Schultz is a civic hacker, Knight News Challenge winner, and
Knight-Mozilla Fellow. Dan graduated from the MIT Media Lab in 2012
where he prototyped Truth Goggles, an automated lie detector for the
Internet. His creations have been featured on NPR, Wired UK, Boing-
Boing, and TechCrunch. He also was covered in New Scientist for his
work blasting a pumpkin with a laser cutter. With SVSG Dan advises
companies around the world, teaches non-technical students to build
things, and works with other makers to change the way we learn
about our communities online.
David Kuchar is an experienced entrepreneur and a high-level thinker
with a broad engineering background and experience in marketing
and product design. He has a deep financial technology background,
and a passion for education.

Matt Swanson has a background as a technologist in the fields of
machine learning and crowdsourcing. After finishing his graduate
work in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, Matt
went on to found SpeakerText which raised from investors like Google
Ventures before finally being acquired in 2012. With a wealth of
experience in early stage startup development, Matt advises a
number of companies on their technology strategy and serves as the
acting CTO of others. Matt also works with enterprises to help incor-porate
innovation into their organizations.

Greg Little

Greg Little graduated MIT with a PhD in Computer Science and with
an emphasis in crowdsourcing and machine learning. Since then,
Greg has helped a number of companies like oDesk with their crowd-sourcing
strategy.
Dana Levine

After receiving two Masters Degrees from MIT’s Leaders for Global
Operations Program, Dana went on to found multiple software
startups, and he has worked with a wide range of companies to build
and launch products. Dana Levine has been building web applications
since the days of Classic ASPs. He began his professional career as an
engineer at Google, working on early AJAX web applications. He is a
fan of descriptive function names and thorough test coverage.
