- 1. Worked with Courtney, Joe and Ruksana. In our group we worked as a group to help achieve our aim. No time management issues, stuck to our deadline Weaknesses was we could have used more creative angles to make it more interesting and complex to show variation of the different camera shots we had learnt Strengths were working together as a group Try and explore more with the shots and angles

- 7. During the editing process I learnt that it wasn't easy putting a sequence together. We planned our time very well as we were done during the time set us and we had even got extra shots just in case there was something missing or there was something wrong with the scene we had filmed. Strength during the editing was that when cutting the scenes and putting them together they worked very well especially when the actor was filmed going into the classroom the way the shot was glued together was very good and again when the a close up of the paper being shown was slid on the table, it shot was very good and it was stuck I the next shot very well. A weakness in during our editing was when were trying to put the shots together it took longer that it should have taken as it was quite difficult putting the scenes at some places.

- I worked with Courtney, Joe and Ruksana. In our group we shared the task equally and took turns to have a go at different things, we had to work as a group to achieve our aim. There were no time management issues when working as we started as soon as we could and even left time at the end to film extra parts. We started at 2:40 and finished at 4 and we had met this deadline as we had finished our recording. During our task the only problem we had faced was finding a suitable time that we all could do but eventually we agreed on a time. Apart from that during our task we did not face any other major problems. Our weakness was that we could have used more creative angles to make it more interesting and complex to show a variation of different camera shots .Our strengths were that we worked as a group to get things done on time and the fact that we had some time left shows that we stuck to our deadline and we were managing our time very well to get everything done. Another strength was editing the sequence, when doing it we didn’t just let one person do it, we had all pitched in and made sense of the sequence and let each other know what we thought was next, what was right or wrong when editing and when to cut and put the sequence together for it to make sense. Another strength was making sure everything was the same each time making sure that nothing had changed that would show when editing our sequence. We had to look out for small things that could affect our work like what hand did the person use to open the sure making sure it wasn't changing every time making it harder for us when it came to editing. Next time we will try and explore more with the shots and angles to make it more interesting and complex to show our skills
- When planning our sequence we had to think about the different types of shots we would use to show what we had learnt and why we were going to use that specific shot. We used a story board to draw up and write up what we would do in each shot step by step. Also when planning our sequence we had watched other prelim tasks beforehand to see what was expected of us and what we could do to achieve more. We had to go outside and practice our camera shots and movements and know what were doing and what shots we would want to use and test them out.
- For our task we used a camera which was a Cannon HD, a tripod, a computer to use Abode Premier and a white board. We used the camera to record our Prelim task, a tripod to place our camera on so it was stable and so we could move the camera round without it shaking as we were recording. Again we used the Adobe Premier to edit our prelim task cutting out sections we didn’t need and rearranging the order to make it make sense. We learnt various things about using cameras like checking the spirit level to make sure that the camera was kept at a balanced level. We also learnt about the rule of the 180 degree line that you had to be on the correct side of the line. We used the white board to write the scene and shot we were doing while recording because when it comes to editing it makes it easier to know what section comes first. On the white board we wrote what kind of shot if would be, for example ‘long shot’ and we also wrote a brief description of what would happen in the scene and what also wrote what take it was so when editing we can know what shots we are to use if there is a mistake in the other one.
- When planning, shooting and editing we had to take into account things like what angle we were going to shoot from, the shot we were going to do if it was going to be a close up or a long shot etc., the setting we were going to use and our storyline when we were creating our story board. We had to also think about our timing as we started as 2:40 and had to be done by 4. During our editing we had to make sure that it was flowing and that you couldn’t tell apart the difference so the sequence looked like one.
- The sequence was successful because it worked well, it made sense, it shows what we are capable of and that we know the basics of camera movement and a different range of shots. I think our sequence worked well especially at the end when we decided to add a slow motion effect to our sequence to make it more dramatic. To improve I think we should have explored different shots and angles. Another thing we could have done differently was increase the length of this sequence to show all the different angles and shots.
- From doing the task I have learnt to keep to time management, always checking the time and giving ourselves enough time to do the task. You split our work into section which also made it easier and faster as we knew what shots we wanted to film. We all had to make sure each of us was doing what we were assigned at that time in our group right, if I did look wrong we would help each other to make it right. Being organised while working as a group is crucial. If you are not organised it will show through in your work and also time management would be hard to keep as you are not organised. Using technical skills I have also learnt how to edit a sequence, cut it at the right places making sure it flows.
- During the editing process I learnt that it wasn't easy putting a sequence together, cutting parts of the sequence trying to rearrange it to make it make sense. To make our decisions we were referring to our storyboard and using the white board we had used during our filming to know what scene was which and where we had to out it.We planned our time very well as we were done during the time set us and we had even got extra shots just in case there was something missing or there was something wrong with the scene we had filmed. While editing we were referring back to our story board and what we had planned to do, we also had little thoughts on what shots we should do.
