This contains the supply chain of Cagayan State University based on the analysis of the author. This is just a requirement of the course E-Commerce Models and Technologies.

Requirement in E-Commerce Models and Technologies
2. A supply chain is a system of organizations, people,
activities, information, and resources involved in moving a
product or service from supplier to customer. Supply
chain activities involve the transformation of natural
resources, raw materials, and components into a finished
product that is delivered to the end customer.

3. Institutional Setting: CSU has
identified the demands of the
society. Based on these demands,
CSU sets its standards along with its
vision and mission. In order to be
responsive to the demands, various
courses are offered.
4. Curriculum Review: To ensure that CSU
can provide the demands, curriculum are
designed to be responsive by aligning the
knowledge and skills of the graduates to
that of the required knowledge and skills
of the society with the collaboration of
the different sectors such Alumni
(products of the university), Private
Institutions (industries), and Government
Agencies (CHED).
5. Students: Students are the supplied
component from the different secondary
schools whom the designed curriculum will be
implemented. They are an important
component of the supply chain. They are the
instruments in satisfying the demands of the
society. They will enter and receive services,
and become the products of the university.
6. Instruction: Aligning the University’s Vision
which is “Transforming lives by educating for
the best”, CSU is educating for the best
through quality instruction, research and
extension to transform the lives of people. It
ensures that graduates (product) are equipped
with the required knowledge and skills to meet
the demands of the society by implementing
the designed curriculum and hiring competent
faculty members.
7. Support to Operations: The
collaboration of the different
frontline service providers of the
university is required. These frontline
service providers play important roles
in achieving and in the delivery of
quality instruction.
8. Society: Graduates who are
equipped with the required
knowledge and skills will serve the
society (recipient of the products)
and work in the industries.
Graduates (products) were
produced to meet the society’s
demands.
9. Feedback: CSU is continuously collecting
feedbacks from the society to evaluate its
performance in meeting the demands of
the society. This is determined in the
employability of graduates in their field of
specialization. Feedback are also used to
improve its services.
16. Conclusion
CSU is maximizing the use of internet and web applications
to advertise its accomplishments and achievements as
evidences in providing the needs of the society. In addition,
these evidences will attract more students and stakeholders
to invest education at CSU and as a result, CSU can
transform more lives. Therefore, integrating e-commerce
strategy in business or any organizations can contribute to a
greater success.
