Satellite Technology Systems provides high-definition video production and uplink services using specialized mobile broadcast trucks. The trucks are equipped with 2.4 meter and 1.8 meter satellite antennas for C-band and Ku-band transmission, along with HD and SD encoding and decoding equipment, fiber connectivity, cameras, audio gear, and monitoring for live news, sports, and event coverage.
Black Hat Europe 2015 - Time and Position Spoofing with Open Source ProjectsWang Kang
Time and position data of mobile devices are trusted without checking by most vendors and developers. We discover a method of GPS spoofing with low-cost SDR devices. The method can be used to alter the location status as well as the time of affected devices, which poses a security threat to location-based services. We also examine other positioning methods used by smart devices (e.g. WiFi) and how to spoof them. Advices on preventing such spoofing are given.

[HES2014] HackRF A Low Cost Software Defined Radio Platform by Benjamin VernouxHackito Ergo Sum
The HackRF project is developing an open source design for a low cost Software Defined Radio (SDR) transceiver platform. SDR technology allows a single piece of equipment to implement virtually any wireless technology (Bluetooth, GSM, ZigBee, etc.), and we hope the availability of a low cost SDR platform will revolutionize wireless communication security research and development
throughout the information security community.

The MGV-4000/PA Controller from TDM allows routing of audio inputs from different sources to the connected speaker zones. The controller converts the VoIP audio codecs into analogue signals as input for the connected amplifiers and their speakers.
The zone selection feature allows the operator or dispatcher to select dedicated speakers to broadcast an announcement at a specific location. Each broadcast can be assigned a priority level, those with a higher priority will take precedence over announcements of lower priority.
All announcements are duplicated on the MGV-4000 /PA Controller and forwarded to the voice recorder on TDM’s NIS system; providing recorded evidence of each audio announcements.
