- 3. About The Library Initiative for Health Literacy Promotion Southern University' s John B. Cade Library in partnership with the National Library of Medicine (NLM), other librarians and community partners are helping African American communities to gain access to and use NLM health resources for life. - 16. STEP #2: If your results return more than one (1) medication, verify the correct name by clicking-on VIEW MORE.
- 17. Package Photo & NDC Code What is an NDC code? Each listed drug product is assigned a unique 10-digit, 3-segment number. This number, known as the NDC, identifies the labeler, product, and trade package size. The first segment, the labeler code, is assigned by the FDA. The NDC code can be found on the outside packaging of medication.
