2. Fonts
These are ideas for fonts that I could use in my magazine. I chose elaborate fonts for mast
heads and titles as this would make the layout and style more appealing. I chose a simple font
for the main body text so that it is easily legible.

3. Colour scheme
These are the basic colours that will be included in my magazine’s colour scheme. I
chose these colours as not only are they conventional to the “rock” genre, they will
help certain things stand out and make things seem more visually pleasing.
4. Images/Photography
These images are similar in style to
the ones that I would like to use in
my final publication. The use of
black and white is conventional to
“rock” magazines which would
suggest that images in my magazine
should be edited in this way. There
are also posed and staged photos
which I will also have to include. My
research shows that these intense
images are a pivotal point of the sale
of a magazine.
