Widespread concerns regarding the rise in prevalence of skin cancer and the adverse effects of both acute and chronic photo-damage due to exposure to UV rays, has led to various modes of treatment. The latest development in this regard is the findings about Glutathione and Polypodium dry extract as potential treatment components for skin conditions. Glutathione plays pivotal role in protecting cells against oxidative stressinduced cellular damage and in detoxifying Xenobiotics and drug metabolism. The added photo-protective effects of oral Polypodium with its antioxidant, immunoregulatory and antiinflammatory properties aid also in prevention of chronic skin damage, photoaging, and skin cancer led by UV exposure. Its decreased levels are associated with the common features of aging as well as of a wide range of pathological conditions, including neurodegenerative disorders.

The cost of bringing a medicine to the market is around one million which include clinical and preclinical trials. Repositioning of drugs help in cutting down costs as well as time involve in intial validation and authorization. The procedure involved in Drug repositioning is generally performed during the drug development phase to modify or extend an active molecules distribution line. On a fundamental level, repositioning opportunities exist because drugs perturb multiple biological entities and engage themselves in multiple biological processes. Therefore, a drug can play multiple roles or perform a various mode of actions that are responsible for its pharmacology. Hypertension, is a condition that causes increase in the risk of cardiovascular diseases. In this study an attempt has been made to reposition hypertensive drugs for different diseases by exploring molecular targets of hypertensive drugs. Consider that they often need to be administered for long periods of time, often over whole life time Side effects although present, have been found safe enough to be used for such long durations, hence repurposing these drugs for other diseases may be beneficial with limited side effects. Introduction:

anthocyanin-based drugs may be challenging due to their complex chemical structures and
potential variability in composition depending on the source of the anthocyanins.
7. Cyanogenic glycosides drug development
There has been some interest in developing drugs based on cyanogenic glycosides. One
example is amygdalin, a cyanogenic glycoside found in the seeds of apricots, peaches, and
almonds. Amygdalin has been investigated as a potential anticancer agent, as it has been shown
