Student financial assistance is one of

(SSP)
Created under R.A. No. 4090 in which the state
shall create scholarship in arts, sciences and letter for poor
especially gifted citizens.

Qualifications:
1. Be among the first ten of the graduating high school
class.

Study
Grants
Program
(NISGP)
This a program that provides educational
opportunities to members of the national cultural
minorities.
Subprograms:
a. Regular Program
b. Educational Assistance Program for the Cordillera at
the U.P. College Baguio
c. Study grants for the Muslim
Qualifications:
1. Be among the first 15 of the graduating high school class.
2. Be a bonafide member of the National cultural communities.
3. Be a financially disadvantaged i.e. applicant’s parents gross annual
income does not exceed P36, 000.00Be in good physical condition and
of good moral character.
4. Be 25 years of age or below at the time of selection.

Program
(SEGEAP)
This program extends educational
opportunities to members of national cultural
communities classified as hill tribes (those inhabiting
mountainous and inland terrain; they are from mostly
non-Muslim ethnic groups).
Qualifications:
1. Be a bonafide member of the “hill tribes”.
2. Be among the upper of the graduating high school
class excluding Muslim and Non-cultural members
of communities.

Grant
Program for
Southern
Philippines
under P.D.
Order No.

This is an educational program directed to the
comprehensive and integrated rehabilitation of
rejoinees/returnees and members of the MNLF
participating in the socio-economic and development
programs in Southern Philippines, particularly Regions
IX and XII
Qualifications:
1. Be a rebel-returnee
2. Be recommended by the Bayanihan Center
3. Be NCEE qualifiers for degree course

Program
(SNPLP)
This is a scheme whereby loanable amounts
contributed by five lending institutions (PNB, GSIS, SSS,
LPB, and DBP) are made available for poor but
deserving students to finance their education.
Qualifications:
1. Filipino citizen found healthy and Morally upright
2. Parent’s/Guardian’s gross annual income not to
exceed P36, 000.00
