In the year 2062, society thrives based on seven strands or values: Making with low barriers for all to create; Identity with different ways to present oneself; Open with widespread access to information; Networks through communities; Activism empowering individuals in politics; Acceleration dealing with rapid change; and Generosity with sharing and low-cost economies. While these strands come from the future in 2062, some may seem familiar to us now as important values. Different strands may have more or less meaning to different people. The document introduces these seven strands that guide society.
