National integration requires that all parts of society, large and small, work together cooperatively for national development rather than focusing narrowly on their own interests. Activities like all-India tours, celebrating national festivals, morning assemblies, and seminars can help instill national integration in India. However, factors like religious differences, the caste system, socio-economic disparities, political issues, and cultural and linguistic variations between Indian regions have historically hampered full integration. Addressing these problems is important for India's democracy to become a reality.
