the setting of the river side to make
the audience aware of the
surroundings. The buildings visible
are from the location of Canary
Wharf. The angle will continue to be
at eye-level.
1. Camera is zoomed in closer to the
setting to show popular buildings in the
scene. The close-up shot will be
establishing and the angle will be at
normal (eye-level).

2. 3. Eye level long shot captures the
back of the father as he runs to the
scene of the crime.
4. Camera zooms into a medium
shot of father running to reveal
his desperate body language as
he rushes to get to the murder
scene as quickly as possible. The
angle will be at eye-level.

3. 5. High angle extreme long shot
looking down on the inspector
and the dead body found on the
beach. This angle will reveal the
main setting and the occurrence
at the scene.
6. Camera zooms into a long
shot to reveal the body more
clearly establishing it is a girl.
The angle will be a high angle.

4. 7. Close up high angle shot of the of
the dead girls face illustrates the
brutality of the murder.
8. Slightly low angle, medium
long shot of the detective taking
down notes of the crime scene.

5. 9. Eye level, medium close up of
detective looking down on the body to
reveal his disturbed facial expression
to the scene.
10. Eye level, medium long two shot
as another detective enters the scene
of the crime and helps the other
detective take notes and inspect the
body.

6. 11. Slightly low angle, medium shot of
the detectives discussing the crime scene
and what could have potentially
happened.
12. Eye level, long shot of the father
as he enters the scene looking down
on his child’s dead body in sorrow
and agony.

child’s death. (During the scene where
the father is kneeling over his dead
daughters body) "Who did this to her?"

expression as he mourns over

looking down on the dead body as
it is in a weak position.
16. Long two shot of the detective
picking up evidence next to the
dead body. The angle will be at
eye-level.

9. 17. Camera captures a close-up of
the dead girl as the inspector is
observing the scars and marks on
the side of the her face.
18. The camera zooms out and crabs
to the right to capture the
investigation more clearly.

10. 19. The close-up of the face is captured
once again however this time it is more
revealed to present the audience with
detail of the victims face. The angle is at
eye-level.
20. The camera zooms in and
more detail is revealed to have
a thrilling effect on the
audience. Eye-level angle.

11. 21. Medium two shot of the
detective comforting the father as
they leave the crime scene. "We
understand you are in pain Sir, but
please leave and allow us to carry
out our job. We will find the person
who did this." (Said in a professional
tone as she escorts him of the scene)
22. A pan is used to the left to reveal the
devastated father as the detective is trying to
reassure him they will find the murderer.

12. 23.The camera tracks the inspector
and the father as they begin to walk
up the stairs and leave the scene.
The angle will be at eye-level.
24. A match on action shot is used from
the top of the stairs capturing the father
walking up the stairs while the inspector
is escorting him. The angle will be a
slightly high angle.

13. 25. A slightly high-angle (looking
down) is used to capture the
murderer trying to view how the
investigation is proceeding. A high
angle is used to represent him as
weak.
26. A panning movement is used to
follow the steps of the murderer as
he moves to a more clear position to
view what is going on with the
investigation. The angle will be high
to portray him as a coward.

14. 27. The camera zooms into the murders
Facial expression. The close-up will
illustrate the murderer grinning and
smiling.
28. A fade to black and the title of the
text appears.
