This document summarizes a Bible story about Joseph and his family. It describes how Joseph's brothers were jealous of his colorful robe and sold him into slavery after he had dreams of dominating his family. Joseph was imprisoned in Egypt but later interpreted the Pharaoh's dreams, leading to Joseph being put in charge of storing grain during seven years of plenty. During a famine, Joseph's brothers came to Egypt for food and bowed down to him without realizing it was their brother. Joseph revealed his identity to them and brought his whole family to Egypt to live with him.

Let me ask you this question, “what is true love?” Or let me rephrase the question: have you experienced true love?” Singles love to talk about this four-letter word but on a serious note – there is more to life than a relationship. I want you to know and experience what True Life is. A life that experiences True Love only through one person.
There is someone tugging in your heart, telling you – “are you looking for true love? Look at me.” Perfect love can only be known and experienced through one person. Satisfaction and completeness can only be found in the Lord.
In Luke 15:11-32, we’ll find the parable called “the parable of the prodigal son.” But what is a parable? Based on Wiki – a parable is a succinct, didactic story, in prose or verse, which illustrates one or more instructive lessons or principles. It differs from a fable in that fables employ animals, plants, inanimate objects, or forces of nature as characters, whereas parables have human characters.
A parable is a type of analogy. Or simply put, a parable is a simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson.
Jesus frequently used parables as a means of illustrating a lesson. Such stories help provide rich symbolism to the lessons he wanted to teach
This Bible-based, educational and colorful slide show teaches children about the third day of creation as recorded in Genesis 1. It contains realistic pictures, a quiz, and a fun song for the children to learn and sing along with the author- perfect for parents, teachers and church volunteers interested in encouraging their children's mental, physical, social and spiritual growth. An accompanying activity book can be found at www.7daysofcreation.net.
Why did God give the Law - so high, So demanding, So unreasonable humanly speaking that no body (no man, no woman, no boy, no girl) has ever been able to keep them?

1.Joseph could not restrain himself before all those who stood by hi.pdfapnafreez
1.Joseph could not restrain himself before all those who stood by him, and he cried out, “Make
everyone go out from me!” So no one stood with him while Joseph made himself known to his
brothers. And he wept aloud, and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard it. Then Joseph
said to his brothers, “I am Joseph; does my father still live?” But his brothers could not answer
him, for they were dismayed in his presence.
a. Joseph could not restrain himself before all those who stood by him: Joseph ordered all the
Egyptians out of the room and was then alone with his brothers. His great emotion showed that
Joseph did not cruelly manipulate his brothers. He was directed by God to make these
arrangements and it hurt him to do it.
b. Joseph made himself known to his brothers: This perhaps means that Joseph told them he was
Joseph and showed his brothers that he was circumcised. Jewish legend says the brothers could
never believe this high Egyptian official was Joseph unless he showed he was circumcised.
c. But his brothers could not answer him, for they were dismayed in his presence: Because of the
punishment they anticipated, the great emotion of Joseph, his manner of revelation, and the total
shock of learning Joseph was not only alive but right in front of them, the brothers were
dismayed.
Pharaoh and Joseph send the brothers home with many gifts.
Joseph gave them carts, according to the command of Pharaoh, and he gave them provisions for
the journey: The sons of Israel received transportation, provision, garments, and riches because
of who their favored brother was. Pharaoh blessed the sons of Jacob for Joseph’s sake.
i. “To return to Canaan with ‘carts from Egypt’ was the cultural equivalent of landing a jumbo jet
among a tribe of isolated savages. It would be the stuff legends are made of.” (Boice)
b. See that you do not become troubled along the way: The idea behind the words “become
troubled” is literally become angry or quarrel. Joseph knew as soon as these men left his
presence they would be tempted to act in selfish, unspiritual ways. They had to anticipate and
guard against this.
Jacob hears the good news – that Joseph lives.
Then they went up out of Egypt, and came to the land of Canaan to Jacob their father. And they
told him, saying, “Joseph is still alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt.” And
Jacob’s heart stood still, because he did not believe them. But when they told him all the words
which Joseph had said to them, and when he saw the carts which Joseph had sent to carry him,
the spirit of Jacob their father revived. Then Israel said, “It is enough. Joseph my son is still
alive. I will go and see him before I die.”
a. He did not believe them: Jacob was told Joseph was dead and believed it. Then he was told
Joseph was alive, and he did not believe it until his sons told him the words of Joseph and
showed him the blessings that came to them through Joseph. Then he believed Joseph was alive,
though he had not yet seen.
In this sermon we explore the life of Joseph who was enrolled in God's Faith Hall of Fame because of the faith that he demonstrated in the special instructions he gave concerning his bones. What he did created a powerful testimony of hope.
Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

4. Jacob had twelve sons. Although he loved them all,
Joseph was his favourite.
1.Reuben, 2.Simeon, 3.Levi, 4.Judah, 5.Dan,
6.Naphtali, 7.Gad, 8.Asher, 9.Issachar, 10.Zebulun,
11.Joseph, 12 Benjamin
5. Jacob made Joseph a beautiful
colourful robe.
His brothers were jealous. They wanted to have
nice robes and they wished Jacob loved them like
he loved Joseph.
6. One night Joseph had a dream.
When he awoke, Joseph told his brothers that
he had dreamt that their bundles of grain had
bowed down to his bundle of grain.
7. Joseph had another dream. He told his family
that the sun, moon and eleven stars bowed down
to him.
Jacob thought it meant that one day the whole
family would bow down to Joseph.
This made Joseph’s
brothers very angry.
9. One day some traders came along. Joseph’s
brothers were so angry that they sold him to the
traders.
But they knew they could not tell their
father what they had done.
10. The brothers lied to their father and told him
that Joseph had been killed by a wild animal.
11. The traders took Joseph to Egypt, where he
was thrown in prison.
Joseph knew he had done nothing wrong and he
knew God would look after him.
12. Joseph made a friend. The man was the
Pharaoh’s wine taster.
The man told Joseph
about a dream.
“ I dreamt I was
picking grapes and
squeezing them into
Pharaoh’s cup. Then I
put the cup in his hand.
What does this mean?”
Joseph told him he would soon be free and
would be the Pharaoh’s wine taster again.
13. A few days later what Joseph had told his friend
came true!
14. Not long afterwards, the Pharaoh started having
some strange dreams.
The He saw seven skinny cows and seven heavy
cows. The skinny cows ate up all the heavy cows!
15. In another dream the Pharaoh saw seven
healthy plants and seven dried up plants.
The dried up plants ate the healthy plants. This
confused the Pharaoh.
16. The wine taster heard the Pharaoh and his wise
men talking about the dreams.
He told the Pharaoh all about Joseph and the
Pharaoh asked for Joseph to be brought to him.
17. Joseph knew what the dreams meant.
He told the Pharaoh,
“For seven year plenty
of food will grow. For
the seven years after
that there you will not
have enough food as
there will be no rain.”
The Pharaoh was very
impressed and gave
Joseph an important
job.
18. For seven years Joseph was in charge of
gathering the crops in Egypt. He made sure extra
food was stored away for the seven years when
the crops would not grow.
19. When the seven poor years began there were
many people who had no food, even in other
countries.
Joseph’s family did not
have enough food to
eat so Jacob sent
Joseph’s brothers to
Egypt to buy some
food.
20. When the brothers got to Egypt they
went to Joseph and bowed down to him.
They did not know it was their brother
Although Joseph knew them he did not say. He sold
them food and they travelled home.
21. When Joseph’s brothers returned for more food
they bowed down to him again – just as he had
dreamed!
Finally, Joseph told them who he was. The
brothers seemed very afraid.
22. Joseph told them not
to be afraid. He said
they should celebrate.
Joseph’s brothers rushed home and told Jacob.
Jacob was overjoyed and soon the whole family
moved to Egypt to be close to Joseph.
23. Memory Verse - Romans 8:28
"And we know that all
things work together for
good to those that love
God, to those who are the
called according to His
purpose“
