In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

4. DAY 1
GOD MADE : DAY AND NIGHT Did you know :
Light travels very, very fast. For light
to get from the earth to the moon it
takes only 1.255 seconds. Light that
we see from the sun actually left the
sun ten minutes before we see it.
Travelling at the speed of light, you
could go around Earth 7.5 times in a
second.
Humans can sees specific areas of
light (spectrum), but other animals
and insects can actually see parts of
light that we can’t.
5. DAY 2
GOD MADE : SKY AND CLOUDS
At the end of Day 1, the earth was
still completely covered by water. If
you had been there on Day 2, you
would have seen nothing but water.
The earth is the only place in the
universe known to have liquid water.
Although you can’t see the
atmosphere, it is very important,
because it contains the air we need
to breathe to live. Also birds need it
so they can have somewhere to fly.
Otherwise they would never get off
the ground.
Did you know :
6. DAY 3
GOD MADE : WATER , LAND AND PLANTS
At that stage, the whole earth was
still completely covered by water. If
you had been there, you would have
seen nothing but ocean, with no land
poking up anywhere.
On Day 3, God spoke again and
commanded the land to produce all
kinds of plants. If you had been
there, you would have seen green
grass, tall palm trees, and other
vegetation spring up from the ground.
The earth has more than 80,000
species / types of edible plants.
Did you know :
7. DAY 4
GOD MADE : SUN, MOON AND STARS
There are 200-400 billion stars in our
galaxy. But then, there could be as many
as 500 billion galaxies in the Universe, and
each of which could have as many or more
stars as the Milky Way.
That’s 200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
STARS !!!
Did you know,
God says in Isaiah 40:26
Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens:
Who created all these? He who brings out
the starry host one by one and calls forth
each of them by name. Because of his
great power and mighty strength, not one of
them is missing.
Did you know :
11. Humans / People are special to God . We are like God in many ways, and
unlike the animals in many ways.
‘God is spirit’ (John 4:24), so, unlike the animals, You can be filled with God’s Holy
Spirit. And you can pray to God directly.
‘God is love’ (1 John 4:8), so you can love and worship God, love other people,
and know His love for you. Animals cannot do this.
God is holy and perfect—this means He never does anything that is wrong—and
He commands us to be holy and perfect too
Unlike the animals, people have a conscience which tells us what is right and what
is wrong. We can talk with other people (as well as with God).
We can choose / Plan what we want to do. Animals do things by instinct .
We can invent complex things like computer games, musical instruments,
paintings, mathematics and aircraft, and use clocks to measure time. Animals may
make nests or burrows, but this is the limit of their creativity.
DAY 6
GOD MADE : ANIMALS AND HUMANS
God knew that the time would come when God the Son would become a man and live on the earth in the person of Jesus
Christ. He gave the first man, Adam, the sort of body in which the Lord Jesus Christ would one day appear.
