Background of entrepreneur
 RIYA NAGAR is a 23 year old Delhi based freelance makeup artist.
She is a BBA graduate from I.P. University.
She is a certified make up artist by Meera Sakhari
Soon after completing her graduation she established her own brand called Make up by Riya Nagar.
She’s been giving her services for almost 2 years now to all her Delhi NCR based clients.
Services Offered by Makeup by Riya Nagar
Makeup by Riya Nagar offers a wide range of packages as per Customer’s preferences and budget. The wide
range of hair and beauty services offered by her include the following:
Bridal Makeup
Party Makeup
Engagement Makeup
Airbrush Makeup
Commercial Makeup
Hairstyling
Draping
The Market
•Offers on Location services to children, pageants contestants, active moms, brides, celebrities and all
other women attending parties.
Marketing Strategies
She believes in the power of social media, therefore she has active social media accounts on both
Facebook and Instagram.
she posts regularly about make up tutorial videos, pictures of different make up looks on her clients
and herself, her clients’ testimonials, reviews about latest makeup products, collaborations with other
brands and a lot more.
She has also started running marketing campaigns on these social media platforms
These marketing activities have resulted in increased number of followers and additional
opportunities for her.
Pricing Strategy
The rate of her services take a whole lot of factors into consideration such as location, her overhead
and running expenses, as well as what our competitors are offering. However, because She is
relatively new to the market, she intend to offer discounted rates for her services for some time.
This is intended to attract more customers to her business considering COVID’19. After taking a
careful look at what her overhead and running expenses would be for these months, she is optimistic
that even though she would generate less revenue, we would not be running at a loss during this
period.
Payment options
Because she intend to cater to diverse customers, she has come up with payment options that would
suit all her various customers’ preferences Therefore, the payment options that are available for all
her customers are;
Payment via cash
Payment via Point of Sale (POS) Machine
Payment via credit card
Payment via debit card
Profitability of the business
The amount of profit she makes depends on the exact number of customers she serves and the exact
services they request.
She says, as her experience grows, she won’t be afraid to increase her prices.
She also rotates her advertising and services strategies according to high seasons for makeup.
Also, she is planning to diversifying her skill sets that would make her twice as marketable.

  • 3. Background of entrepreneur  RIYA NAGAR is a 23 year old Delhi based freelance makeup artist. She is a BBA graduate from I.P. University. She is a certified make up artist by Meera Sakhari Soon after completing her graduation she established her own brand called Make up by Riya Nagar. She’s been giving her services for almost 2 years now to all her Delhi NCR based clients.
  • 4. Services Offered by Makeup by Riya Nagar Makeup by Riya Nagar offers a wide range of packages as per Customer’s preferences and budget. The wide range of hair and beauty services offered by her include the following: Bridal Makeup Party Makeup Engagement Makeup Airbrush Makeup Commercial Makeup Hairstyling Draping
  • 5. The Market •Offers on Location services to children, pageants contestants, active moms, brides, celebrities and all other women attending parties.
  • 6. Marketing Strategies She believes in the power of social media, therefore she has active social media accounts on both Facebook and Instagram. she posts regularly about make up tutorial videos, pictures of different make up looks on her clients and herself, her clients’ testimonials, reviews about latest makeup products, collaborations with other brands and a lot more. She has also started running marketing campaigns on these social media platforms These marketing activities have resulted in increased number of followers and additional opportunities for her.
  • 7. Pricing Strategy The rate of her services take a whole lot of factors into consideration such as location, her overhead and running expenses, as well as what our competitors are offering. However, because She is relatively new to the market, she intend to offer discounted rates for her services for some time. This is intended to attract more customers to her business considering COVID’19. After taking a careful look at what her overhead and running expenses would be for these months, she is optimistic that even though she would generate less revenue, we would not be running at a loss during this period.

Payment options Because she intend to cater to diverse customers, she has come up with payment options that would suit all her various customers’ preferences Therefore, the payment options that are available for all her customers are; Payment via cash Payment via Point of Sale (POS) Machine Payment via credit card Payment via debit card

Profitability of the business The amount of profit she makes depends on the exact number of customers she serves and the exact services they request. She says, as her experience grows, she won’t be afraid to increase her prices. She also rotates her advertising and services strategies according to high seasons for makeup. Also, she is planning to diversifying her skill sets that would make her twice as marketable.
