At the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries Puławy was known as the "Polish Athens". The town was the seat of the eminent Czartoryski
family and due to them it became the second after Warsow centre of political and cultural life in Poland.
ORIGINS
The town of Aranjuez began to
emerge in its current path under the
reign of Ferdinand VI, who first or-
dered the plane to draw a new po-
pulation. On that plane it is on
which has continued to develop
over the years. It is true that since
the sixteenth century and were sent
by the palace built several houses to
accommodate the servants, but
those houses were closed when
kings left Aranjuez.
Aranjuez is not only a place where one goes to visit one of the most beautiful palatial complexes
in Europe. It is also a town where people work with enthusiasm and dedication to find the point
between the legacy of a monumental past that has projected them universally and a future that
requires the adaptation of all social agents of the municipality.
In addition to the own Palace, the House of Crafts and Gentlemen, the Royal Place, from the moment of his birth as a town, it was con-
ceived as a noble space where buildings were accommodating worthy construction. To this they were devoted all efforts Santiago Bona-
via as is evident in the two religious buildings which charted for the city: the church of San Antonio and the hermitage of Alpajés.
Puławy lies in western part of the Lublin province, at the edge of the picturesque Lesser Polish Gorge
of the Vistula, and near the easternmost point of the Vistula river. Historically the town belongs to
Lesser Poland, and geographically, it lies at the border of Mazovian Lowland and Lublin Upland.

Brignoles is a commune in the Var département in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southern France. It is a sub-prefecture of
the department. It was the summer residence of the counts of Provence. Their castle dates from the thirteenth century.
ITALY
The municipality is mentioned for
the first time during the 11th
century. The land, originally ow-
ned by the Arduinicdynasty, pas-
sed to the Marquisate of Saluzzo,
who had a castle built here. The
Saluzzo dynasty soon underwent
a rapid decadence ending with a
French domination period which
lasted 40 years. In 1588 Carmag-
nola became a possession of the
House of Savoy, when Charles
Emmanuel I besieged and con-
quered it. France took possession
of Carmagnola a second time
during the 17th century, during
the civil war between Madamisti
and Principisti (supporters of the
French and the Savoy dynasty
respectively).
