activity 2.1 :
solid, liquid and gas.
activity 2.1 : solid, liquid and gas.
          The purpose of learning
• Try to check the alignment, the distance between
the particles and the binding forces. And the
movement of particles in a solid, liquid and gas
using the particle model of arrangement of the
  material.
• Explain the different state of substance. The
model is used to sort the particles of substance.
activity 2.1 : solid, liquid and gas.
           Equipments and materials
• Foam tablets 80 cm3
• Potassium permanganate crystals 1-2 crystals
• Ammonia solution 1-2 drops
• Plastic bottles of 250 cm3 1 piece
• Rubber tube connected to 1 set
  a gas pipe off
activity 2.1 : solid, liquid and gas.
               Equipment and materials
• with a set of plastic bottles 1 set
• Beaker 100 cm3 1 piece

Cautions and suggestions.
• Ammonia solution can be danger to
breathing system. Don’t smell it and
drop on wool about 1-2 drops. And close
  it immediately.
• Potassium permanganate crystals can be
  danger to skin system.
Results
                         Part 1
Blow the foam tablets softy. When they swaying
but they stick together. When blow heavier, it swaying

the heaviest the foam tablets will spread out quickly
around the plastic bottle.
Results
                  Part 2
     When put Potassium permanganate
crystals into the water it turn to be
violet. And smell it quickly.
