INTRODUCTION
SATELLITE INTERNET:
1. Ability to transmit and receive data
from the relative small satellite dish.
2. Transmits and receives its data to a
location on earth called NOC.
3. The NOC in turn is connected to the
internet.
STARLINK
1. SpaceX was Founded by Elon Musk in
2002.
2. Satellite constellation development project
underway by SpaceX
3. Aims to provide low-cost, high-
performance Internet services.
NECESSITY
• Promises stable internet service.
• Ability to provide internet in remote areas.
• To overcome drawbacks of ground internet
service
StarLink compromises of four fundamental
technologies:
• Computer Networking
• Rocket Technology
• Satellite Technology
• Laser Communication
TECHNICAL STACK
Satellite consist of
1. Four Powerful antennas for
internet transmissions
2. Laser connection
3. Ion thrusters

ADVANTAGES OF STARLINK
• The main advantage of this is the global broadband internet.
• After installed, it has ability to access the internet from any
part of the planet.
• It will also help in communication with the settlements on
mars as planned by the company.
• Starlink will be faster than the undersea fibre optic cables that
carry internet traffic world wide today.
• Starlink users would still have constant communication when
bad weather strikes.
CONCLUSION
Starlink will benefit areas where internet is non-existent or unreliable. Hundreds of
cities that were previously entirely unsuitable for a business location, will have
potential once starlink goes live. This satellite internet service will bring revolution
in internet speed and a massive development in service sector field, education field,
etc. Spacex's vision is to bring more such technology like starlink which will be very
helpful for the human being in the world.
