The document describes the establishment of St. Peter Parish Church in Quezon City in 1993. It began with no church building and acquired land in 1994. Church construction began in 1995 and was completed in 1999 when the church was dedicated. The mission is to build a life-giving parish and caring communities. The vision is to be a Christ-centered community responding to people's needs. The organizational structure of the Parish Youth Commission within St. Peter Parish is outlined.

2. St. Peter Parish Church
Acting upon the pastoral needs of the People of God, and with the recommendation
of the College of Consultors and the Archdiocesan Office for Research and
Development (AORD), hereby establish, by virtue of this Decree, the Parish of
St.Peter, New Capitol Estates,Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City.
The Parish is bound by Batasan Road in the North, Tandang Sora in the South and
Commonwealth Avenue in the West
St. Peter Parish began in 1993 upon her formal erection as a parish like a mustard
seed, with no parish church and even without the site for which to build the church.
Equipped only with faith the size of a mustard seed, her first Parish Priest, Rev. Fr.
Gerardo R. Tapiador and the First Parish Council were able to acquire the site in
1994 on an installment basis.
Construction of the church began in 1995 and the level of the main church was
adequately completed in 1999. His eminence, (+)Jaime L. Cardinal Sin, DD,
Archbishop of Manila, formally dedicated the Church and consecrated her altar on
August 15, 1999.The feast day is on February 22.
3. Mission
Build a life-giving parish and inculcate and develop
among parishioners a deep sense of parish;
Build and strengthen loving and caring communities in
the neighborhoods;
Form and empower Parish Volunteers for responsive
and effective pastoral service.
4. Vision
We, the local Church of Quezon City, are a Christ-
centered community of disciples, responding to the
needs of the people, journeying with the Blessed
Virgin Mary towards the newness and the fullness of
life.
5. Organizational Structure
The Commission shall be known as the St. Peter
Parish – Parish Youth Commission. For Brevity, it
shall be known as the PYC. The PYC is one of the
five Commissions of St. Peter Parish – Parish
Pastoral Council (PPC) and is a member of the St.
Peter Vicariate Youth Ministry (SPVYM) and the
Novaliches Diocesan Parish Youth Ministry
(NDPYM).
6. Organizational Structure
The PYC shall be composed of the following within the jurisdiction of St. Peter
Parish: (a) Young Professionals (b) Out of school youth (c) Youth in Schools and
Organizations
B. For administrative purposes, the PYC Core Group is composed of the following:
