Village
• One sunny Sunday on that fateful month of
july 1990, Rev. Fr. Virgillo Saenz Mendoza,
Parish Prist of Sto. Nino de Molino parish
celebrated the very 1st mass in addas village
2. Some of the residents helped to organize
the momentous event. It was a well-attended
Mass celebration. On that day also, people of
addas, especially the roman catholics showed
enthusiasm and eagerness to listen to a
proposed project for a community chapel.

3. • Father Vur assigned Bro. tadeo angcao, a seminarian
from the tahanan ng mabuting pastol to conduct the
weekly bible service. He began to proclaim the word on
september 15, 1990. on the 1st day of the service,
many came however on the succeeding weeks, the
attendance decreased. Other ways and means were
devised to attract the people to the service were
undertaken. One suggestion came from Sis. Lourdes
molina together with some friends they suggested that
a week block rosary be conducted in order to uplift the
spiritual life of the people and to let them know about
the power of prayer through the holy rosary.

4. • An image of the “our lade of fatima” was
purchased, thus the block rosary began
immediately. It followed every bible service.
The lady was moved from one house to
another.

5. • Through our lady, many of the parishioners got to
know one another. Potential lay leaders were
identified who can help in organizing the
contemplated pastoral council. In a few weeks
time, the block rosary devotion spread
enormously throughout the village. The
organizing group at 1st observed that only a few
came to participate, but they did not give up and
continued with their invitation and
encouragement among the parishioners to join
them.

6. • Throughout 1993, san miguel 2 has faithfully
attended the monthly parish council meetings
and participated in the vigils, novenas and
other activities of the parish. San miguel
Pastoral council was also represented for the
1st time in the Christmas choral festival.

7. • From january 1994 up to the present, the
masses celebrated by Fr. Vir are now held at
8:00 p.m. every 1st Saturday of the month; the
Sunday bilble services are being carried on by
Bro. Rey santos, unassisted for most part due
to the sickness and subsequent passing away
of Bro. Yoyong. A special novena or masses
was held this january 1994 and the pastoral
area census, which has been ongoing since
December, 1993 and is now winding up.
